My wife and I have been having meals at Vincitori for years. In fact, one of our earlier dates were at their original location. The food is always outstanding, the specials are great, the staff is friendly, and the variety is great. This is more of a date night than a take your family to (at least when the kiddos are toddlers) kind of restaurant. The bread and oil served before meals is always fresh and delicious, at this point weve tried the majority of the menu and have yet to have something we didnt enjoy. In fact, just writing this review has me thinking we need to make another stop here at some point soon! The only thing that can be a problem is finding parking nearby. The spots out front fill up quickly and if it is a prime dining out night or weekend the lot across the street can be packed as it tends to service 3 restaurants and much of the downtown area. However, even that cant count against such a delicious meal.

Our business had their quarterly dinner last night. Our party was six. Even though the restaurant was not that busy for a Saturday, the service was very slow. The waiter only came back two times for drinks. He only came back the second time because one person in our party has to ask him. Our meals took way to long with one persons ribs and another persons steak not properly prepared. After our waiter gave us the bill, he never returned for payment. We had to ask another waiter to take it who then made an inappropriate remark to one of our female guest when she was going to pay. The slowest and length of time for our meals also occurred three months ago but we thought we would give it another try.. Our company will take our business to any other restaurant but this one. We will never return to this establishment.

My wife and I had a date at Vincitoris last night and it was marvelous, to include, both the cuisine and staff. Frank our server was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. We ordered the Baked Clams which was wonderfully seasoned and delicious even though in a stew like state. The warm bread included with the meal worked well to absorb the additional goodness from the appetizer. My wife ordered the Shrimp Vincintori; it was appealing to both the palate and eye. The Veal Marcella I had was scrumptious. I would dine at Vincitori’s any night they are open, if only I lived nearby.

Waited over an hour even when there are tables with no customers or a reservation sign. Hostess didnt care how long a customer wait. Food was burnt when it came out. Service was bad that we had to wait 30 minutes for our waitress to bring the check after we told her that we are done. Owner was saying hi to every tables but skipped us when he/she walked by. This restaurant relies heavily on selling Groupon to stay alive because they cant keep new customers.

We had a great dinner at Vincitori last night. This was my first time dining here and I was pleasantly surprised; the decor was well done and the paintings were especially cool. Done by a female artist, she used lipstick, kiss smudges for the art... havent seen that before. Anyway, the food was delicious and the portions were good sized. The kids meatball was huge and a big success with the kids. The Vincitori Rigatoni was very good.

We just hosted an event this past weekend. Had about 40 people in their private room. Let me tell you the experience was amazing. They did such a wonderful job. The servers were polite, courteous and super attentive. The food was amazing. We had it served family style and everyone had a ton to eat. Everything was absolutely first class! Cannot thank Robert, the owner, enough. His staff and restaurant are amazing!

Saw this place on Groupon and immediately wanted to try.. Had dinner, food was tasty.. Unfortunately after eating here I had indigestion and heart burn so bad I thought I was going to need to go to the hospital. Not sure what they use in their food but it was pretty upsetting as I am only 25 years old and have never had issues like this.

This is our new favorite pizza place. Love the soup selections, good salad, never ending bread. Havent tried anything else on the menu. Most of the servers are excellent - efficient and friendly. A little pricey for a class of Riesling ($8), so I limit myself to only one. Overall a very nice place to eat.

Best in the western burbs. Quaint old world Italian restaurant. Food is wonderful and delicious. Great entertainment. Have been back several times and will make it a regular hangout. Dinners are great but the pizza is the best I have ever had. This is all coming from an Italian family.

Went for a party. Food and service was excellent. Friendly and fast. Very old school Italian vibe. I only tried banquet food but it was delicious. Bruchetta an potatoes were highlights. Parking can be difficult if downtown Westmont is busy.

This is a excellent casual Italian restaurant with an extensive and affordable menu. Try the pizza, its one of the best in the Suburbs of Chicago. Thin crust with charred, perfectly cooked crust and top notch ingredients.

Food was excellent, service staff very knowledgeable, helpful,a little on the pricey side...dueling pianos were way too loud for a dinner situation..although most dinners didntseem to mind...i would go back for the food...

Vincitoris always has great food and service. If youre looking for entertainment they have singers on select nights and dueling pianos is a great time. Highly recommend checking out Vincitoris if you havent already.

Fantastic Italian restaurant in downtown Westmont. Their flash fried spinach is amazing and the desserts are homemade! Loved my caprese appetiser and the bowl of frutti de Mar entree was massive.

Ive not eaten here, but cannot bring myself too. I walk the area regularly, and see their bread left in the open where insects and whatever or whoever can get to it. I cannot accept that is safe.

The place is good but not amazing. A little better than Olive Garden and priced higher. The people here make it a good experience and it is a nice place to go on a date to. Excellent wait staff.

Top Italian restaurant in Western Suburbs. But really though, better than anything on Taylor Street. On par with North End restaurants in Boston and fine New York Itai places.

The food is always outstanding. The fried calamari is really good. The clams with white sauce is always good with a nice amount of clams. The whole atmosphere is cozy.

The menu has a nice selection of seafood. Not your run-of-the.-mill Italian food. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food, and portions are generous.

Im not sure how people eat at this place. Everything taste like it comes from a can. I take it back, I would rather eat canned food over this place.

The buratta and prosciutto was amazing. Blackened duck breast with butternut squash was a little too sweet. Server forgot to get my drink order

The food here is superb. The Caesar salad is the best salad I have ever had. Service and ambience is also very pleasant. We love this place.
