I cant imagine how this place doesnt get 5 star reviews - always. I went to this place when I was in high school and since then have always passed it up on the weekends. What a stupid mistake because they make thee best food for breakfast. I had Stephanie for our server and she was beyond wonderful, I never had to wait for coffee and it was always fresh,and she made you feel like you were one of the regulars every time she came around. loved her shes an absolute gem! I ordered the crab cake benedict with pesto and WOW it was a generous portion, their hash browns were beyond amazing, and the cake had a good amount of crab. When she was giving the specials to another table she apologized to me prior because she forgot one of the specials to tell me which happened to be a cheesy grits dish. I mentioned I would have totally ordered it and that it sounded so good, she went out of her way to ask the chef to make me a side. They were creamy, and had the perfect amount of cheese. I cant remember what my boyfriend ordered but after we were done we stated we refuse to go to ihop or dennys ever again. The prices are incredibly reasonable, actually cheaper in my opinion than ihop $24 for our two meals versus $31 at ihop.

I have been to this restaurant on a previous occasion during their breakfast rush. The service was slow, but the food was quality. On the most recent occasion, the restaurant was about a quarter full at 7:00. I dont know if they were under-staffed, but it took 20 minutes before a waitress even acknowledged our presence and that was only after we grabbed our own from the hostess station. We informed them of how long we had been waiting and also of how no one took our drink order. The waitress turned around and walked away, so we walked out. Needless to say, I will not be eating at this restaurant again.

Sunrise Grill is a hidden gem in the area. Its a diner that serves a good meal for not a lot of money. Im a big fan of breakfast and always seem to order breakfast items for lunch when I come here. Ive been a fan of everything Ive tried here. Its not breakfast thats going to change your life but it certainly will fill your belly for just a few bucks. The place is cute, the staff is always friendly, and there are a lot of locals that frequent the restaurant. The atmosphere is comfortably casual.

The kitchen looked real clean.. like you could perform surgery back there. The service was very good. They all helped each other fill drinks which meant I always had a full cup of coffee. They had some unique food options which is gold if you want to try something out of the ordinary but also had the classics. And they had very affordable price points. Highly recommended.

Best Sunday brunch in the area but expect long lines. I like going here for a late lunch, but its also fantastic for dinner with many healthier food options and even though they look like a diner, the food plating is fancy and they really go above and beyond the low price in terms of food taste and quality and presentation.

Great breakfast! I usually go here after dropping family or friends off at the airport. The pancakes are great. The eggs are always cooked perfect. Fresh squeezed juice. The hash browns are okay, but still good. The people are friendly and the place is clean. Will return when in the area...

Great tasting Breakfast ! Perfectly buttered toast and eggs. They offer crispy shredded hasbrowns and potatoe hash browns...friendly environment, calm and quiet. A great place to have a long breakfast with a friend and talk :-) small little nook kinda place with classic breakfast.

The best place for breakfast. Most restaurants fail at the basic things, but these guys had the food nailed down perfect to salt in the hash browns. Really healthy and good eggitarian options. Do try them and try the Spartan or the Pesto omelette.....yummylicious!

Little hole in the wall next to a 7-11, but dont let that fool ya. Place is great. Im telling ya 5 star quality food for a reasonable price. Friendly and personable waitstaff. Best restaurant is Des Plaines. My favorite restaurant in the NW suburbs.

Ordered carry out. Took twice so long as they said. They didnt seem concerned, or apologetic. English muffin burnt, hard as a rock, and not buttered. Not was any butter given to me. I have a picture of the burnt muffin, cant post. Angry.

Oh My God! A friend recommended this place to me and I cant thank her enough. Food was awesome and the staff was the most courteous I have witnessed in over 20 years. You got to go and try for yourself. The menu is a food lovers dream!

Had the Cobb salad. Lots of bacon, avocado, blue cheese crumbles. It was delish! Nice little location just a bit away from OHare. Will definitely stop in again in order to let rush hour go by.
