I’ve been looking for a local handicap van dealer in my area for several years, am I ever glad that I located AMS Auto. I visited their dealership and was surprised by the number of handicap vans they had available. Olaf was very courteous and help me select the right vehicle for my handicap needs he spent well over 3 hours with us, we never felt any salesman pressure from him. Olaf was able to install foot controls on site which has improved my driving ability. The vehicle itself was rebuilt and you would never know it, not a blemish or flaw in it anywhere, great savings with the look and feel of a new vehicle.

Olaf and the team at AMS auto are the BEST! We purchased a used wheelchair van and live in Seattle. The van was purchased AS-IS, as with almost all used car sales. We experienced two issues shortly after owning the van and in both instances Olaf worked immediately to help solve the problem, even buying parts and shipping them to our shop at his expense. AMAZING. I would tell everyone that this is RARE in this business. I would buy all my cars and do all my service with Olaf and AMS if I lived in IL.

My boyfriend is a paraplegic and is wheelchair bound. Weve been looking for a handicap conversion van and found a beautiful one at ams auto in Woodstock. The price was reasonable and Olaf was very thorough in showing us all of the new features (including those that would be of use to my boyfriend). I feel that Olaf and his team are very trustworthy. We will be bringing this van to his shop for any need repairs to the conversion system. What a relief to find this place!!

Olaf and his team did exceptional work on my vehicle after it was involved in a hit and run accident which occurred right before Christmas. They made what already was a process extremely easily from the beginning with obtaining the insurance quote to the work My vehicle looks brand new and Im so happy with the experience I had and would return in the future for any needed auto body work!!!

I took my Jetta here to have my bumper reattached and to repair my handbrake. They gave me a great price and they did the repairs quickly. The mechanics are very friendly and trustworthy. When my bumper started to fall off in the same way a few months later, I took it in again and they reattached it for no charge. I will go back again and again for any work on my Volkswagen.
