My AC had stopped blowing cold air, so I called Commercial Service based on the Google reviews. A technician arrived that day and diagnosed the issue quickly. He was able to diagnose the issue quickly because I had done much of the grunt work for him prior to arriving ( I took off the back plate on the compressor exposing the capacitor, I took the plate of the evaporator case so he could see inside). The tech diagnosed the issue that the capacitor was bad, and he replaced it. His entire visit was 15 minutes. Anyone can purchase a capacitor for $5 to $20, but Commercial Service decided that they were going to charge me $130 for this cheap, easy to replace piece. The $130 is on top of the $86 diagnostic fee. All told, my bill was $217 for 15 mins of work and a $10 part. I made a phone call to Commercial Service and was given the run around all day about who could make the decision to possibly lower my bill. After speaking with Grant and then Charlie Lofton, Charlie asked me what I wanted him to do, I asked him to lower my bill. He asked how much I was willing to pay for the part, I said that $60 seemed fair, as this was still at least a 400 to 500% markup on the part ( I understand that there is markup on parts in the service industry). Charlie said he would call me later in the day after he spoke with Greg about what they could do to lower my bill. Charlie called me back, and said he made the decision that he would not lower my bill. He said he didnt speak with Greg, and made the decision on his own. I found this to be absolutely terrible customer service, as he was completely unwilling to change my bill. I find it even more telling of their business practices that they would be willing to lose a future customer over $60-70. In a nutshell, Commercial Services markup on a part was 1300%. I will not recommend them to anyone and will explicitly warn people of their business practices that are borderline highway robbery. Maybe they have a large enough client base that they can treat new customers like garbage. Ill be going to someone else for any future HVAC needs, theres plenty in town.

In 1984 Commercial Service installed the HVAC in our new home. Since that time no one else has touched the system, we only use Commercial Service. We may pay a bit more, not sure of that, than some other companies might charge but we get the best service and that makes it worthwhile. It doesnt matter if we are talking to office personnel or the guys who do the hands on work, everyone is pleasant, professional and extremely helpful. They do the work in an efficient and proper way, respond quickly when there is a problem and just generally make me feel like I am their most important customer. I cannot imagine using anyone else and they will be who I go to for as long as I own my home, when I sell I will recommend the new owners to Commercial Service. Thanks to each of the employees for all their help over the years. I look forward to working with you for many more.

I had signed a contract for another business who, to keep names out of this, advertise they are there in just over 59 minutes. Well I am no expert in HVAC which is why I called them, so I signed to have system installed on Saturday after losing my AC on Wednesday. After some advise from friends I learned that $12K is too much for a heat pump and furnace. Especially a low end one. So I called Commercial Service for a second opinion. Not only could they sell me the same system for $7K less but actually gave me what I was looking for in a very high efficiency system and still for almost $5K less than I was going to pay. To top it off the install crew were awesome and the salesman came with them and helped for several hours. These guys are top notch and treat you like family! Will come back every time I need something.

I am so grateful for Commercial Service! They not only came out to our remote area but the experience was as pleasant as could be considering we had a plumbing issue. BJ came out and took a look at our tankless water heater. He was patient, kind and polite. He put up with a lady...who knows nothing about plumbing...asking numerous questions and being in the way! :) BJ answered and explained a lot and helped me feel better about a bad situation. I would highly recommend this company and BJ if you have plumbing or tankless water heater issues. And when all was said and done the company even charged a little less than I was originally quoted. Happy customer here and I will use them in the future should any other problems arise.

Commercial Service recently installed our new high-efficiency furnace. The service was 5 stars all the way. The initial tech who came out to inspect our old furnace, Charlie who followed up the initial tech visit, and the two techs who actually installed the furnace were all fantastic. Every single person I interacted with from Commercial Service was professional, polite, and personable. Charlie sent me two different estimates and was very responsive to my emails. They also filled out the paperwork for my rebate with Vectren and provided us with very affordable financing. I cant say enough good things about my experience with Commercial Service.

I wanted to compliment the staff for standing behind their products and services. After several trips to my house to complete a simple changing of filters on my RO system....Top-rated tech, BJ was able to finish the job, started by another, correctly. Plumbing Manager,Thomas, stood behind their service guarantee and the job was finished on Christmas Eve before we had a large gathering on Christmas Day. I called Commercial Service via recommendation from the local paper. They are a quality company and will stand behind their products and services. I am on their yearly recall list to check the RO filters annually. Sincerely, Ronald Beatty

Technicians know nothing except how to charge you. Spent 200 dollars for 15 minutes of work that ended up doing absolutely nothing for my issue. Called and had them come back to figure out what was wrong and without even looking at the water heater told me I needed to pay 1200 dollars yet they still didnt actually know the problem. Called to speak to supervisor and he told me he would call back and never did. Horrible service, horrible prices. Was quoted 600 dollars less for the same job by a different company.

Commercial Services came highly recommended. It was easy to setup a visit for an estimate. Charlie was very punctual and professional. Its not a very big job. Just need new furnace for 1000 sq. ft. home. Old one is out already. Unfortunately, Ive been waiting over two weeks for the estimate. Called last week and was told they were working on it and I would see it shortly. A week late, Im still waiting. At this point I cant speak to the quality of their work but the long wait for an estimate does not bode well.

I am new to the area and early this summer I found water leaking from what i thought was the ac. When the guys came out to look at it they told me it was my hot water heater, so we had that replaced. Turns out that was not the problem at at. A friend then refered me to Commercial Service! They were great! It turns out our trap was blocked and they had it taken care of in no time! I wish i would have called them first and not dropped $600.00 on a water heater i didnt need. Thank you Commercial Service!
