UPDATE 2-27-2017 Patio Door in dining room, and 3 panel living room window sliding 2 panels. Just had White Oak install a Patio Door, and living room window today. Compared to our old Anderson window and Anderson patio door witch were drafty, the new window and door already make a huge difference in the feeling in the rooms. Absolutely draft free. The temp between the two rooms is even for the first time in 5 years since living here. Install went smoothly, and was done in one day as promised. Unlike LOWES. Used Lowes for a bathroom remodel. And, will not use Lowes for any other remodel or projects. I recommend White Oak highly. Five Stars is no where near enough. 100 Stars. The person who presented the windows was spot on about the product. And, if you are like me and looked into windows for years. I mean over 20 years, and just not impressed with the cost to warranty you find at big box stores like Lowes. And, when you realize that Anderson and Pella windows have many levels of quality. Even at the best level of quality you are still not looking at that great of a deal. When the White Oak window rep came out, he presented a far superior product than anything I had ever seen before. We are talking every level of detail was far superior. Things to consider not just the cost of the window: If DIY no coverage if anything goes wrong. If having it installed, cost of that. May or may not have warranty. The Window or Patio door warranty. What is covered. No matter what, there will be maintenance costs. Failed seals, broken glass, torn screen, failed weatherstripping, roller jumps the rail, and so on. Replacing the window and patio door when they wear out. With White Oak you get a warranty that covers everything for as long as you live in your dwelling. And, when the house is sold, the new owners get the same coverage for another 25 years. To have windows that keep the cold out, and the warn in during the winter. Better than heavy lined room darkening curtains, and a comforter hung over the window. And, with all that it was still cold and drafty. Tried the plastic over the window and that was worse than the comforter idea. To not have to ever worry about the windows again, for anything they might need it is covered, PERIOD. As far as I am concerned it is GAME OVER for the best of the best so called windows. Because, these are THE BEST I have seen, and now am experiencing. Second to none. Also, no free or discounted product or service was offered for this review. First review - ROOF AbiliTV Broadcasting (Jon Holtz-Revels) - We needed a NEW roof, and had looked into a few different companies. We did not feel all that confident with those others. White Oaks rep came by and we got someone who knew there stuff. In the end we choose to go with the top of the line roof material they offer. EVERY person that comes to the house, and 100% all neighbors absolutely love the roof color. All done in one day, with clean up the next. Cleaned up so well only found over the next few years two nails, and a piece of old roof material. >--- To all those that want to rate based on NON SERVICE while yes it is annoying to answer the door to a sales person, a simple thank you but no thank you POINT AT YOUR LOVELY SIGN and ask for the companies number... CALL THE COMPANY LODGE A PROPER COMPLAINT. >>>> By the way I do not work for or represent White Oak on any level. We decided to go with Whit Oak for our front 3 piece window, and our back patio door. We look forward to this, as it will also determine if we use them for our second Bathroom Remodel also.

A couple of weeks ago, a young man was walking around my neighborhood and asked if I would be interested in windows--I said yes and he said someone would contact me. There were way too many phone calls asking me to set an appointment. I told the caller that my best time was 6 am and he said they dont do that--I wasnt kidding but understand that no one was available. I told him that I would call them but he said that I probably wouldnt--how does he know. Finally, about 5:45 pm last night, the man called again and said he had a 6:30 pm cancellation so I said OK. The salesman arrived at my home at 6:30 pm to talk about my windows. He was very professional and polite but the presentation was 2-1/2 hours and I was tired--I was not impolite to him and listened the entire time--no way would I have said to come if I knew it was going to be a marathon. It was quite amazing that the price started out around $35,000 and went down to $31,000 and down a couple more times until "if you will commit right now, it will be $18,000". Why couldnt I have been told the lower figure at the beginning? I thought it was fishy. This morning, I read the reviews online with BBB and Google. Most of the reviews mentioned the lengthy "salesman pitch." If that problem has been addressed, as it states that it has, no more of this lengthy stuff should be happening. Also, I would not want the company to begin a job at my house and then say there is an increase in the cost. I was actually considering calling the company to ask a couple of questions but told some friends about the experience last night. All of them said it would be crazy to do business with a company that can change their price so quickly. All of the above is just FYI.

I am COMPLETELY DONE with this company. A solicitor came to my door. Ringing and knocking, disturbing school (I homeschool my son). I told him we just moved in and didnt need anything at the present time. I said possibly windows later down the line. He asked for my number so they could call me about the windows at a later time. I said fine. He left. Then not 10 minutes later he came back to my door ringing and knocking. I again answered the door. He said I was the only one that answered my door and that his supervisor had an opening for the next day. I again said that I wasnt interested in anything at this time. He left. The next day I received 6 phone calls from Indianapolis. No voicemail left, just lots of calls. Then the next day several more calls, the next day several more calls, etc etc. I added all of the DIFFERENT Indianapolis numbers to my auto-reject list. Do they not get the hint? Two weeks have gone by with tons of phone calls and we had another solicitor come to our door this past week (I did not answer the door this time). Im also now receiving tons of phone calls from restricted numbers. This is truly pathetic. No one wants to be harassed or bullied into a service. These are not all automated phone calls, there have been snide comments on a couple brief voicemails. I will NOT do service with this company and I fully regret ever giving up my phone number and answering the door. Its sad that I cant open my own door without questioning if someone is trying to sell me something or harass me every day.
