I went with my bridal party to get some pampering before our wedding. I have been to a lot of salons, but this was the worst Ive ever seen. We could have done 10x better going to a "chop shop." Half my girls who got manicures didnt even get their cuticles pushed back, a second coat of polish, or even their nails filed!!!!! Their nails looks horrible! Mine were so-so, but they chipped that night (so much for getting them the day before the wedding....) and some tips were rounded while others were square! We could have done a better job! It was NOT worth $75...not even $30! The salon was empty except for us, and one girl that worked there looked completely bothered that we were there. Our flower girl came along and she was rather well-behaved, but this girl (the one with black and blonde striped hair) was sneering at her the whole time. When I went for my bikini wax the girl hardly did anything at all! I wish I had known how dissatisfied my bridesmaids were before we left, due to the special occasion, they were too embarrassed to say anything. I wasnt ever a bridezilla, but I could see how I would raise an eyebrow at that! I cant believe such a salon like this could do so well that they could add on all the extra rooms that were new....but I guess a lot of suckers pay $75 for the worst mani/pedi of their lives!

A group of friends, including myself, scheduled pedicures at the Ethereal Spa. We left feeling duped and disappointed in the service. We looked up their fees on their website before booking the pedicures. At the time, their website listed a price of $40 for a basic pedicure and $50 for their French pedicure...higher than what we are accustomed to (we typically pay around $45 for a premium pedicure) but it was a special day for all of us and we scheduled the appointments. What we got were pedicures that were little more than a polish change. One technician even forgot one of my friends feet and had to be reminded to do both feet(!?) When we left we were charged $55 for each pedicure. When we inquired as to the $15 upcharge we were told that we received their "high end" pedicure. We were not told this when the appointments were scheduled or even after we arrived. And we were not given an option when we protested other than an offer for discount coupons on our next visit. These would obviously never be used due to the poor skills of the technicians along with the terrible attitude of the salon owner. I concur with Alisha...I wouldnt recommend wasting your time or money in the salon.

Had a horrible experience here. We went here to get my hair/make-up and my bridesmaids hair/make-up done for my wedding. The girl I had my hair trial done with was not there and was told she was fired because she has problems with the sauce, no one informed me before coming there. When they called to confirm the appointments someone informed my sister they had pricing special for hair and make up for prom but we could get the special price. When we got there and it was mentioned the owner was very rude to my bridesmaids about it and pretty much yelled at my sister wanting to know the name of the person that told her that while slamming a drawer closed. At one point the stylist started kinda arguing because one was whispering about the other. One stylist put a rag over my friends nose because she knew her breathe smelled horrible but hey I guess she apologized for it. By the end of it all my hair looked like cap and so did 2 of my bridesmaids. We went back to our cabin to redo our hair and make up. My make up was not done they way I asked for it to be done. I would never recommended this place to my worst enemy.

My friends and I stayed in brown county for my birthday and the trio had one bad thing happen after the next, our first cabin lost power then we were moved to a cabin without power. We already had a spa day planned but Ethereal Spa really stepped up and turned the weekend around. My friend and I did a package with 30 min in the hot tub and then an hour massage. We got wine with hot tub and then a waterfall shower after the massage. Everyone there was kind and helpful and did a wonderful job on all of their services plus it was affordable. Even though this is a spa in a small town, they made you feel like a million bucks . Would definitely recommend. And will go back!!

I LOVE Ethereal Day Spa & Salon! I get my hair done here regularly, and so do most of my friends and family. Susan is AMAZING! Plus, everyone who works there is friendly and outgoing. I have also received pedicures and massages there, and they feel fantastic! If you want to pamper yourself, look no further! The entire facility is lovely, and the sneak peek I saw of the soon-to-open couples suite is GORGEOUS! This just may be the most relaxing place in downtown Nashville. Youre sure to leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and beautiful inside and out.

The place is located amidst the nature but they dont deliver what they advertise. Me and my husband got a couples package of spa and massage which included Hydrotherapy soak,relaxing massage and facial enjoying the views of brown county. The Hydrotherapy and the massages were good (not excellent) but the facials were given on the massage table itself(in a dark room with no views whatsoever). Also we booked a package that said 150 mins of relaxation,but the whole thing was quickly wrapped up in around 2 hrs (half Hour of billing and payment maybe

My wedding as Friday and the morning of I went to Ethereal Day Spa. From the time I walked in they were very friendly. The woman who owns the place did my hair and it turned out great, couldnt have been better. My makeup was done by another woman and she did good too but when the woman took back over the makeup she just made it all come together. Great service and excellent skills.

I think the spa and salon are great. Sometimes, as most people know, when you are dealing with people, there are things that come up that prevent salons from keeping on time. The staff at Ethereal always seem to try to be more than willing to work within their means to make a visit there very pleasant. I have received several manicures there and have never been disappointed.

I strongly disagree with the reviews that i see on here....I go on a regular basis to get a massage and tan and have always been treated with the utmost respect and its a very relaxing and tranquil experience for me...I HIGHLY recommend going to this spa for any service...the staff is always nice and respectful and very helpful and am looking forward to my next visit!!!

This business has the worse customer service/schedling I have ever dealt with. On top of that they dont perform the service because they double booked and then went ahead and charged our credit card and now our refusing to give us our money back. If you enjoy getting ripped off go there if you want to have a good experience go somewhere else.

Dont waste your time or money on this place. The services were not professional and the owner was rude and condescending. They are known to not honor gift cards, add hidden charges and give poor service. The only way she survives is taking advantage of tourists
