I am new to the area and thought I would give Zen a try since they advertise theyre a higher end salon. I wasnt too concerned about the price since I figured it would be done correctly and worth the money. You get what you pay for, right? Well, not here. I went in for a hair color, partial highlights, and a cut. $162 later, I like the color and highlights at first but did not like how my hair was cut and styled. So I went to a place in the mall to get my hair cut and styled again about a week later. I left that lower-end salon feeling "pretty" which I did not feel after leaving Zen and paid a lot less money. I liked the job the second stylist had done at the lower-end salon on my hair and even when I had to go back to Zen for them to "fix" the color ( a week and a half later the gray was back) even the hair stylist at Zens commented on how she liked the style. The "fix" they did on my hair wasnt really a fix but a rush job. You can still see the gray :( Zens prices are high for a Master Stylist and horribly over priced for a "rookie" stylist. Their prices are deceptive... They advertise their Brazilian blowout starts out at $175. My hair is shoulder length and I was quoted a price of $350. Double!! I was told the $175 was for people whos hair is only a couple inches long, people with very short hair. Unless Im missing something, who in the world would pay $175 for a Brazilian blowout on hair that was only a couple inches long? And how would someone use a hot iron on that short of hair? As far as cleanliness... The first time I was in their shop, I literally had to try to step over all the hair that was scattered on the floor that no one swept up. This wasnt from one persons hair cut, to me it looked like there was at least five different shades of hair on the ground at one terminal.

Will never go back to this place. Spent $220 for the spa package and finally got a day away from my two kids to relax. The services went great. However, the customer service and the way it is ran was terrible. When I went to leave the manager who checked me out couldnt add and told me I owed her more money. When I tried to explain she actually owed me money, she took out a piece of paper and began to add. When she realized she wasnt right or simply couldnt add she threw $5 bill at me and mumbled under her breath to have a good day and tried to walk away. I tried to ask her if she understood the math so each technician received the correct tip she said she would fix it later and walked away. I just spent $270 to be treated like a complete idiot when she was clearly wrong. Will find some place else to go. Dont waste your time here.

I called at 12:15 today (Monday), 15 minutes after they opened. I had to leave a voicemail because nobody answered. I was trying to schedule a couples massage today for me and my wife. Its 3pm and I still havent received a call back. I guess we will take our business elsewhere. Edit: 4 hours and still no return call. They must be making a fortune if they arent willing to return phone calls for business.

I received a gift card for Moms Day to this "expensive" salon. I was not impressed!! The person who did my manicure/pedi (said she was the manager) had very dirty fingernails from a camping trip the weekend before. How hard would it be to clean your hands? It didnt leave a good impression with me and I wont return even if another gift card is given to me.

They have some of the best therapists in the business. If you are an athlete or soldier, you will like this. Angelique has some of the best hands in the business. They give a military discount. And the soldiers dont stop coming. They work with your schedule and love feedback. The right amount of pressure will be found.

Ive been going to Lori for over 5 years and I cannot recommend her more highly. Lori is accommodating to your schedule, very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. In addition to these skills, shes a great business woman. If you are looking for a great salon I recommend you give Zen a try.

Front desk has horrible customer service. They are very unfriendly and they look at people like their pieces of dirt. All while they sit upon their stools eating food and gossiping. Very unprofessional!

The decor and atmosphere is tranquil and comfortable. I had the 3-4 hour package that includes a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure. All were superb! I felt pampered and refreshed! I will be returning!

Have had 3 shellac manicures and one pedicure.....all fabulous! They know how to treat a client. First visit was an hour massage ...also fantastic!
