i had a horrible experience as well. I had grown my hair to achieve a specific cut and style. I should have followed my instinct and left but after the stylist assured me several times she could achieve the desired result, i sat in her chair. In the end, my hair looked like it had been cut with a lawn mower, all chopped up, a huge gap in the back behind my left ear. It was nowhere near the photo i brought with me; the photo that the stylist told me 3 separate times she could do. I was very upset; Tiffany came over and did nothing to rectify the situation other than to tell the little girl to wash and style my hair. i did tip the girl for all her trouble but walked out to my car in tears. I should never have let the girl touch my hair. I should have waited for Dottie. Now I have a botched up hairdo; I dont want to go back and see Dottie to repair it because that will put her in a bad position. I should have known better after watching the customer ahead of me having the stylist to redo his haircut like he wanted it. I hope others will stay away from this salon. Dottie if you see this Im sorry I didnt wait for you.

I took my little sister to get her hair cut, and mine as well. My sister was supposed to get a shampoo with her hair cut and didnt get one. Also, the woman cutting her hair didnt cut it like we asked and didnt even ask if it was okay before sending her back over to me. She did a poor job cutting my sisters hair. I had a picture with me of what I wanted my hair to look like and the lady cutting my hair made my hair look NOTHING like the picture. Also, she cut one side about 1/2 of an inch shorter than the other side. On top of that, I got my eyebrows waxed and they did a poor job on that. They didnt even match my eyebrows. I would never, ever recommend any of my friends, or even my worst enemies for that matter, to get their hair cut there.

My daughter had grown her hair out for 10 months to achieve the cut and style she wanted. We went in with a photo shot in 4 games of the cut she wanted. We asked the "stylist" Tiffany Boyd if she could do this and if she could not, we would go somewhere else. The stylist BUTCHERED her hair. She cut so much off the back, the style in the picture was impossible to achieve! We walked out and took her to another salon to salvage SOMETHING from the mess. This was a disaster!! I would NEVER recommend Smart Style or Tiffany Boyd to ANYONE! Stay away!!
