Its disappointing to plan on a good workout then feel more frustrated after the workout than before. I like to use the 30 min circuit. Ive been a member for 2 years now. The 30 min circuit is ALWAYS abused by people who only want to use certain machines in this area. My husband and I both have mentioned this to the desk staff. Theres always a nod and am aplogy but it NEVER changes!! Twice now when Ive been working out someone starts cleaning near me. I know their Just doing their job, however I work out at a busy time after my work day. One employee was spraying harsh chemicals I had to ask to please stop it was a overwhelming smell and I was doing s cardio workout. Today every machine around me was in use , an employee was dusting the back of the TVs and big dust balls were falling down and dust was going everywhere. I was huffing during my workout and didnt want to breath in all that dust. So I had to back off intensity. I finally just stopped b/c she was cleaning every tv. Can this not be done at night when its not as busy? This was 6 pm in the afternoon!!!

I dont think much of Planet Fitness that they charge members the $39 annual fee who have only been members a few months. I think they should only charge members this who have been there at least 6 months, not new members. I know this is corporate policy and it happens every where (not just New Albany), but I dont think new members should be charged this so soon. Also, I think the New Albany Planet Fitness is overstaffed sometimes. Ive been in there many nights around 9 pm when there were only a few people working out but 4 employees behind the counter -- with nothing to do. Ive never seen a Planet Fitness so over-staffed as this location. Most only have two people behind the counter, on all shifts. If they didnt have free muffin and pizza days, maybe they wouldnt need to charge an annual fee. Some people cant even come in for this.

I visited this PF a week and a half ago while visiting family. Im a member in Florida. I was extremely disappointed with this gym! Half the machines had the stickers off the weights so you had no idea how much weight you were doing. They werent calibrated correctly, I was doing 50lbs comfortably at my home gym, I could do 70 here. The left side and right side werent even. I hardly ever saw anyone clean their equipment after they used it. 30 minute circuit wasnt used for circuit training, only the equipment use. Never saw a class being taught. I live in a smaller town than New Albany and Port Charlotte, Florida has this gym put to shame! You should be embarrassed to call yourselves Planet Fitness!!

I travel all over the US, and this place is by far the worst maintained building I have ever been. The main entrance was filthy. The person in the front desk did not care for the thrash trhown on the floor in front of the counter, I guess she was too busy checking things on her personal phone. All the carpets entering the facilities had thrash on them. Two bicycle machines were broken. Went to the restroom to shower and the smell of the showers was really bad. I gave two stars for all the machines to workout. First time in this place, hopefully next time I come to workout I dont find this many issues. And management pays a little more attention.

I am a truck driver and m in a different Planet Fitness everyday just about. This location was clean and has friendly staff. I do believe there needs to be more than one changing room in the ladies locker room. While I was in the shower two ladies ask if they could change real quick in there while my personal clothing and shower stuff was in there. Other than that GREAT

The obvious is that they have rock bottom pricing & 24 hour access. The not so obvious is that they offer a trainer to help design a workout specifically for the individual!! The staff is approachable, courteous and helpful.

I really enjoy the work out freedom of "The Planet Fitness" but unfortunately and no fault of the PF, they are starting to get angry lunkheads. Maybe its the run off from the hormone feed beef from the BK in the parking lot.

Good gym, but parking really sucks everytime I go because it seems like the whole town is there at 5:30pm. I just have to remind myself that parking further away and walking further helps my workout.lol
