Just started here so my review change. However that said initial experience is great. Staff is very friendly, gym is very clean and majority of the people going there follow the rules and clean the equipment after each use. Their equipment selection is great, more then enough for 99% of people, if you are bench pressing VW Beetles this may not be the gym for you but if your not then its great. Only reason not 5 stars, they require checking account to bill, no free trial period to test it out, and cannot wear jeans and boots. I got a gym membership to primarily work upper body which can be done just fine in jeans and boots, however they consider this "lunk" attire... I get the other rules but not this one, this knocks out 90% of my clothes and forces me to wear some old ass shoes I dont use anymore... Ill get over it but still frustrating alittle.

even though planet fitness woefully short on equipment for anyone even remotely serious about weight training, i decided to try it for a bit and see how it worked out because it was really close to my job. Ive been working out during my lunch break for 10 plus years at various gyms and have never done it in anything but jeans and a t shirt, but i was informed after a week at pf that jeans were against the dress code. since i dont have time to change clothes twice and commute and get a workout all in 1 hr, i guess i must be a lunk. By the way, according to the contract, planet fitness associates have the right to make up any rule they want to at any time and use it as grounds to terminate your membership. Gym where everyone is accepted?

If you are small in stature, you may not benefit from using the machines. I inquired about a "booster seat" for my wife almost 4 months ago. Ive seen seats in other gyms so people who are short can be lifted to the appropriate height in order to use the equipment correctly. I was told from the front desk personnel that they would check with the manager. After waiting two months, I inquired again. I was told several times that I would receive a call from the manager after he spoke with the maintenance man. Im still waiting. Its a simple fix but apparently not worth the effort.

Quite a large location with many treadmills and ellipticals all pointing towards a row of TVs. Only two climbers and a few bikes though. Large area for stretching, abs, and weight/machines under the TVs. Staff was friendly. Place was clean Only complaints were low water pressure (another reviewer noted it too) and headphone jacks in some machines were bad. Individual equipment didnt have individual TVs (as Ive seen in other clubs), but thats more like a luxury than a requirement Otherwise a very nice location. Massagers worked and felt great!

I dont recommend this planet fitness to anyone... I travel and this is one of the absolute worst... Lowest level tanning equipment Ive ever seen... Horrible showers... No pressure... No outlets in the locker rooms making showing and getting ready impossible... I urge locals to drive a little too Lexington planet fitness to see what a real PF is like. Make sure to check out the tanning equipment... Dont waste your money on this one...

Great clientele. Friendly staff. Lots of equipment. Very clean. Just would be nice if the dumbbells didnt stop at 75lbs. Also, if the had a power rack and a few more 45lb plates.

Great place and helpful staff.... Mostly. One lady threw my water and bag away and when I spoke to the manager he gave me a free water bottle. I havent seen that lady since.
