We were to meet friends at Stone Creek TH night. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated. At 6:30P our friends arrived and were seated in a different section of the restaurant. We both had told the hostess we were meeting friends at 6:30P. When expressing concern to our waitress, concert traffic was initially used as possible reason for the delay. Due to several issues, it wasnt until an hour later (and much worry) that the mistake was discovered. No concerns from the manager, no explanation as to how the error occurred. We did not expect a meal comp (since we will accept some responsibility for not taking a complete walk around restaurant) but the appetizers that were ordered during the wait might have been a nice gesture. Everyone should feel that their time has value. With so many good options to choose as to where to spend an evening, this restaurant (where we spent $200) will be removed from our list.

If service and atmosphere are what you value most in a restaurant experience, Stone Creek may be for you. If youre interested in good food prepared well, dont waste your time! We had a similarly poor experience at Stone Creeks sister restaurant, Mesh in downtown Indianapolis. If we had realized they were related, we would have passed. It wasnt until the waiter poured the "tomato infused olive oil" (apparently some kind of signature) that we realized there was a connection. The food went down hill from there. Honestly, how does one screw up fresh bread? Paint a little of that tomato infused olive oil on the crust? The artery-in steak at Mesh was topped by the overt smell of charred chicken at Stone Creek. Dry, tasteless (aside from heavy char) chicken breast accompanied by an overcooked baked potato made for one of the most disappointing dinners weve had in the greater Indianapolis area.

Ordinarily, I would highly recommend Stone Creek; however, my husband and I were looking forward to a wonderful dining experience at your location. We verified your hours of operation prior to making the trip. Upon entering your establishment we were greeted by a young lady who promptly informed us that we would not be taken. Puzzled by her comments, I confirmed that the location is open from 11a-11p. She confirmed, but informed us that the manager made the decision to close down to get ready for dinner and that we would not be taken. Rather than asking for the manager, we went ahead and left. I can assure you that "dissatisfied" does not begin to describe this experience. If your location has posted hours, then you should abide by those hours. Extremely disappointed at the lack of customer service and hospitality "provided" by your establishment.

I wouldnt recommend Stone Creek to my worst enemy!! My parents, wife, son and I went on a Saturday night. We arrived just before 5:00pm; there was no wait and the restaurant was not all that busy. When we arrived with our 1 year old we asked the server to please keep an eye on the order since he only lasts so long. 2 HOURS LATER we still had not received our entree. The waiter forgot part of our appetizer. When the entree arrived only 2 of us got food. 10 minutes later the next 2 got food. My mothers entree was cold as was my sons grilled cheese. My wife and son ended up having to leave just as their entrees arrived. Even after complaining several times the manager never came to see us. We paid $135 for 4 entrees and a grilled cheese.... judge for yourself if youre ready to pay that price for what youll get when you arrive.

We have usually enjoyed Stone Creek, but will not go back after our most recent experience with terrible service and sub-par food. The shrimp cocktail, which was usually delicious, was overcooked. Someone in our party ordered a strip steak with horseradish crust but was served a filet. When we brought this to the attention of waitress and manager their solution was to crust the filet. I know this is a nuance, and the manager was probably thinking the filet is the better cut of meat, but what if the person who ordered the strip steak didnt like filet! We thought they should have at least asked the preference of their customer! Unfortunately, this is another restaurant with good food (usually) that will no longer be on our list.

Im sorry to give such a poor review for this beautifully decorated restaurant but the food was poor and the service was beyond poor. Employees were chatting near our table concerning personal issues in loud tones. Our server didnt know the specials and wasnt friendly or helpful. A woman was sweeping all around our table while we were eating with a broom and a brush sweeper. This makes me put my fork down immediately. Dust fibers sure to be flying onto our food. If there was one word to recommend to this business owner it would be TRAINING! We paid $84 for a late lunch and left with an overwhelming feeling of disappointment in our Stone Creek Dining Company experience.

Typically Ive enjoyed other locations but the service here was awful. I placed a to go order around 4p, so a time where there was hardly any volume. When I arrived the young girl told me to go to the bar. I went to the bar and the bartender literally passed me multiple times and didnt acknowledge me let alone ask if I even wanted a drink. I waited over 5 min until a waitress walked by and I told her I had a to go order. Of course, my order was placed wrong and it was only 1 meal when I ordered 2. I happened to be in a hurry (hence my to go order) so didnt have 15 min to wait. I was pretty disappointed and astonished as such horrible service. I wont be back.

Wow!!!! on 03/29/2017 @ 11:15am I went in to Get a grill chicken sandwich !!! The chicken was great it was flat ,so for me it was easy to eat. The food is fantastic . I got back to my office and everyone was telling me how good the food smelled ! I also had a $10 off card and the gentleman that was helping me wiped the bill ; i thought i was going to owe at least $3 . He also offered me a drink while i waiting now that customer service! I will for sure be back . What made it even better is that I didnt even ask for ketchup and it was in my box!!!! One Happy Customer

I have to say I was disappointed. The best way to describe the experience was BLAND. I had the orange roughy special and my husband had the New York strip. While his steak was cooked perfectly it had absolutely no taste. The tastiest thing on my plate was some kind of green garnish. We didnt complain because it was edible just ....boring. For $25/$26 an entrée I feel I shouldnt need to season anything .. in any way. Im wont mention our opinion of the French onion soup. Feel this place is over priced for the caliber of food.

The inside of this place is AMAZING. The service was impeccable and the filet was delicious. 2/3 drinks we ordered were GREAT, one drink the "special" burned when you drank it (bottom shelf). The drink was not good but they replaced it. the filet was great but the sirloin was like rubber and no seasoning. Good thing the sirloin had the horseradish on it, it needed it. We will return for sure, I will just order the filet.
