I will never be back. I took my daughters in for haircuts and one daughter was getting blue highlights as well. I scheduled in person the day before and was told it would take two hours to do their hair. We came at noon expecting to get lunch afterward, around 2pm. The stylist took four hours! My girls were so famished and thirsty. No one offered even water to my girls during their 4 hour stay. The stylist gave my 10 year old a hairbrush and a blow dryer and told her to dry her hair while she goes and cuts hair on another girl. I told my daughter to set it down, that "we are paying them to do your hair". Later the stylist says she made a little mistake with the color. Apparently, it was spotted and greenish. They added violet to it and now my daughter has streaks of green, blue and turquoise! I was also told the stylist had to start on another appointment so a different stylist would cut and style. I finally talked to the co-manager and she said she would give me 20% off the COLOR. I said that was no good and she came back and made a big deal about giving me 25% off the COLOR. Now there is a VERY big sign that says all new customers (us) get 25% off their ENTIRE service! So not only did I have a horrible first visit to Ulta, I PAID MORE than I was promised, even with their so-called discount on color! I was so ready to get out of there at checking out time that I had completely forgotten about the new customer promotion that I was told I would get the day before when I scheduled the appointments. WOW! I will definitely never be back. I actually would refer my friends there and now I regret it. I always admired the way the clients hair looked coming out of the salon whenever I would shop there. Not anymore. Not ever. Dont go there!

The Salon at Ulta was absolutely terrible! They are not worth the price you pay and they had the audacity to charge me more for services to try and fix my hair after they messed it up the first time. Let me begin by saying that Ive had my hair dyed with no issues for the last 10 years. I recently moved and had to find a new stylist so I thought Id try ulta as I go there for my hair supplies. I went in and had my "Inspiration". I wanted to have highlights. Becca, although very nice, is very inexperienced and the turnout made me cry. She dyed my hair orange. Sh then immediately schedule a follow up appt to fix the issue. When I went back she said I had to speak with her manager. The manager had said she wouldnt charge me ! Mind you, Im in bc she screwed up my hair in the first place. So becca tries dying my hair again... guess what? Still orange and now my hair is frizzy and looks fried. Then she hands me a bill for $50. I was so upset with the entire experience. Youd think stylists would have pride in their work and they wouldnt want someone leaving their chair looking like a total wreck and disappointed! All she said was I could come back to put in more toner! Now-- they already charged me more the second time and it looked far worse! I had to pay an additional $200 at a different salon to get my hair fixed but they wouldnt touch my hair for two weeks bc if the damage becca caused. **** words of wisdom**** if you want your hair dyed, go elsewhere! They were inexperienced and terrible about the entire situation. The manager was unprofessional and useless. It will be a long time before my hair looks normal again after what she did. Dont put yourself through that stress!

So I take my sister shopping for her birthday at ULTA in Hamilton Towne Center, and as we are checking out $90 worth of product, I am asked by the GM if I would like to add some more products to my bag. What she had in her hand was open boxes, so she was insinuating that we had stolen them. She also said she had me and my sister on camera doing it. I let her check my purse (my sis didnt have a bag, only a crop top and tight shorts)...But then continued to ask us where we "ditched" the product since none was found on our person. This was in front of the whole store and was more than infuriating. They wouldnt let me see any footage of us "stealing". We are both just so upset because we did not steal or ditch ANYTHING. Is this normal practice to accuse innocent people? So very upset with their loss prevention tactics. I BEGGED them to re-watch the footage. After reading up on the laws regarding theft confrontation, they did not follow one rule. I will be contacting corporate and my lawyer about this.

Ive been shopping at this location for more than a year now. Today was the last straw! The girl at the checkout (just before noon on 11/8, wish I had asked for her name) was the least helpful person I think Ive ever encountered. I stopped in to buy some conditioner a couple weeks ago & the spot on the shelf was empty. I stopped in again today & its still out, so I asked about it. I was told that they "rarely get that one." Which seems strange since Ive been buying it at that store for at least the last year with no issues. She told me I could buy it online. Well, Im not paying for shipping on a $6 item. So I asked if she could order it for me, of course the answer was "no." Thats it, no offer to check another store, no offer to check on getting it in stock again, nothing helpful at all. Thanks Ulta, Ill be taking my business elsewhere, because obviously customers are a bother to your employees.

i came here to get my roots touched up blonde and i left with orange highlights and to make it worse it was 200$!!! (i think they over charged me because im 17) i had the so called "Master Stylist" do my hair and after she made it orange she had the nerve of saying my ends were in her words "horrible" i wasnt going to pay 50$ for a haircut... so i complained and had to come back i asked to have a different stylist touch it up and the that stylist was just putting the product directly onto my scalp it was dripping down my face and she told another stylist she was being "messy". and to top it off when she spun me around to look in the mirror my hair was dark brown. i left the salon crying. i will NEVER get my hair done at any ulta the service was horrible and my twin sister was also disappointed with her hair too. so it wasnt just one stylist so save your money and go somewhere else.

The first visit was amazing, everyone was helpful, friendly and all around nice! Today we go in to return something and dont have the receipt... apparently they redid the computer system and cant look it up. The cashier went to get the manager we assume.... and instead of offering any help the manager says a few short words and the cashier gives us the number tells us to call customer service ourselves. I dunno, just seems like an awful practice. At least ask if we mind calling.... but youre in retail.... how about realizing we spend hundreds of dollars there?
