I have very thick, curly hair that I wear in a pixie cut and is difficult for many stylists. Emily at Salon Verve did a wonderful job with my hair! She listened to what I was looking for, was receptive to the photos I showed and talked me through each step as she was cutting my hair. Her skills and professional demeanor were fabulous. I ended up with a wonderful cut at a reasonable price and was treated with respect and kindness during the process. She did not push any product on me and welcomed me back anytime within the next week if I felt my cut will need "tweaking". The salon itself is nicely located (view of the Bay), has a broad range of organic products and friendly staff. Thanks for a great experience Emily and staff!

I was excited to go here for a cut and color, it was my first time and I liked the idea of an "organic" salon. But from the moment I stepped in the door, all my stylist did was try to sell me the products that they carry. Throughout my entire cut and color, shed drop product suggestions. Needless to say, I HATE it when I feel like Im living in an infomercial. When I got home, I realized that she missed about an inch of color right on the top part of my bangs. My schedule (and living 45 minutes away) doesnt allow for a quick trip for a retouch, although Im sure they wouldve been happy to fix it. But I just really didnt want to go back and subject myself to the sales pitches.

My only complaint is that youre not closer to my house! I was amazed at how low the price was for a cut and deep condition with Fefe Ann, a Master Stylist, and will absolutely be back (I was expecting $100+, not less than $50 (dont raise the price, though!) My hair was seriously damaged by my former stylist, but now it looks great. I didnt come becuase of the organic philosophy, but I like it, and will absolutely come back for any cut, color, pedicure, or hair removal needs as they come up. The atmosphere is great, the salon is comfortable and feels upscale, and Fefe Ann did a great job. A+!

Jodie is my stylist, she listens to what I say and does it exactly how I wanted it. First she massages my head with the exact scent I need to relax with while we talk about what I want done. Unlike some salons she actually talked me out of dyeing my hair knowing I wouldnt like it from previous conversations. When I needed cheering up she gave me a quick face up do :) I love that the salon is organic and the product they use doesnt harm me or the earth. I give Salon Verve 5 Stars !

The girl who did my hair did exactly what I told her NOT to do. She didnt really listen to me and now I have to grow out color I never wanted in the first place. The up side is that it didnt look horrible, it was just not what I wanted or told the stylist to do. Customer service needs to be dramatically improved.
