My daughter and I were so excited about coming for lessons and thought we had done our homework prior to coming out for lessons. I was impressed over the phone. I thoroughly explained I had lost my confidence and liked the large arena and wanted to work on walk to trot back to a walk along the barn for safety. My daughter has only ridden her pony and is very new to being on a horse by herself. We were both given an unruly hungry horse to ride outside on the trails instead of the arena. He had no bit, just a rope and the rope burnt both of our hands due to the horse constantly diving his head to the ground for grass to eat. I spent my time correcting the horse and telling the trainer how I was not having fun or at ease. This did nothing for my confidence. I wanted to board my horse for the winter and spend my winter building confidence. This experience just left us worse off. We are looking to start lessons again and just wanted to express ourselves I never leave reviews, but my daughter wanted me to. Maybe we will try again in the Spring, but paying good money for a bad experience left us very disappointed. Just very disappointed. Again, Bryce seemed very nice and facility was amazing and clean. Staff are friendly. The facility is clean and well kept. The horses are beautiful and are lovingly cared for.
