From the start, Tracey was so friendly and so easy to work with. During the six months, no question was too minor for her to respond to and always with reassurance for an obsessive Mother of the Bride. We especially liked the venue price including so many "extras." Cheval Manor has several wedding packages; we went with "Run For The Roses." As an extra plug for Tracey, when thunderstorms were forecast for our wedding day, she told us she endeavors to have every ceremony outside, and while she went over what we would do it if rained, she was so optimistic we couldnt help but be, too. In fact, it rained all around us!! Whatever anti-rain dance Tracey performs, she needs to patent it. The venue sells itself; it is stunning, especially the meadow with overhanging willows in front of the pond. Tracey worked with us to design and decorate an arch (included in the venue price), and definitely go for the shepherds hooks with fresh flowers for the center aisle. If your wedding party is small, the grapevine-covered pathway leading to a rotunda makes a gorgeous setting. The Cabana House was a little tight for 8 bridesmaids trying to get ready, but we made it work. The Hobbit House is absolutely adorable, but again, if you have a large contingent of groomsmen, they will not all be able to get ready in there. The Secret Garden has a fire pit which Tracey will tend, and she also has a Smores station for rent. The pavilion was plenty large for our wedding party of 90. Even if the ceremony must be moved indoors, it is set up for that eventuality and is quite pretty. Plenty of farm-based accessories abound. Laura provides, for an additional fee, linens, gorgeous mismatched china, and rustic centerpieces. I was an out of town Mother of the Bride, so paying Laura $15/table was quite reasonable as I didnt want to scour thrift stores or other stores for vases, lanterns, and the like. Her husband is an excellent keyboardist; we used him for the ceremony and for the cocktail hour. Tracey stayed visible for the entire day (8am-10pm); the fee included her day-of planning services. She continually checked in with me to see if we needed anything. She orchestrated when we needed to do what, but she never assumed; she always asked us if "x" or "y" was ok. If its not clear by now, I cannot recommend Cheval Manor more highly. We wish her continued success.

Cheval Manor hosted my wedding in September 2013. I cannot say enough fabulous things about this venue! From the very first time that my fiance and I met with Karen and Laura to schedule our wedding, we fell in love with everything about Cheval. The pictures on the website cannot do justice to how gorgeous the grounds are in person ... everything from the weeping willows surrounding the pond, to the gorgeous vine-draped rotunda, created an atmosphere I can only describe as a fairytale! My guests continue to rave about what a great place it was. The staff is universally courteous and helpful. I felt that it was just as important to them for our day to be a wonderful experience, as it was to us. Karen, who primarily assisted us with our planning, was an absolute joy throughout the process. The staff went above and beyond our expectations in helping us prepare on the day of the wedding. Karen also officiated our ceremony, and I was amazed by how special and unique she made it for us. I could not have dreamed of nor wished for a better experience for my wedding than Cheval provided for us. Thank you all for giving us the perfect setting for a lifetime of wonderful memories!

A deluge of rain and an outdoor wedding? Well we got it and it was potentially horrific. However, prayer and friends and the site of Cheval Manor proved that when you are given a lemon...make lemonade. Karen Brown and her staff, a whole bunch of friends, and the beautiful pavillion saved Annas wedding and turned it into something magical in spite of the weather. We employed two photographers which means we had Kelly and Andrew Morton and have memories of this beautiful day. Rain was an accent not a hindrance as both photographers photos will show. The tables were set up, the refreshments and pony rides took place....and we even got a break for outdoor photos of the beautiful bride, groom and wedding party. I wont regret a dollar spent on this venture. Jim n Nicks barbecue, with Boro Town Cakes as our bakery and Oh my gosh our dear dear friends and family that transformed this day into something remarkable. God Bless Cheval Manor with many more happy memories for so many and thank you again for your kindness, pro services and guidance thru out. Give my number as a reference anytime Karen....you have a friend for life.

My daughter had her wedding at this beautiful ranch on May 16, 2015. We live out of town, but found this facility and after personally visiting, we knew this was the perfect place for her special day. We were at a slight disadvantage because all the plans had to be made from a distance as we live several hours from Cheval Manor. We purchased the "Run For The Roses" package which contained everything we needed at a very reasonable cost. Karen was the most flexible and helpful person that I have ever dealt with, which was such a blessing as the Big Day got closer. What a beautiful place for two people to start their new life together! Thank You Karen

Coming to this venue is the worst decision you can ever make. The people and owners are disrespectful and discriminate based on racist. I was referred to as "you people" while there. This is the worst venue Ive ever been at and I have never been disrespected like this. I would never go back! Be warned!

My husband and I got married here a few weeks ago, and it couldnt have been more perfect! The venue was comfortable and stunning. The staff was exceptionally helpful and with rain in the forecast, we felt prepared on how to handle things if we had to move the ceremony inside.
