I have been taking my vehicles to Advanced Auto for about 10 years now and I love this company. They are personable, honest, professional, hilarious, courteous, experienced, and can explain things in a way that even I can understand. Mike, Greg, and John are all experts in diagnosing a problem with a vehicle. In the process, sometimes they can also find other problems, or things that make sense to replace while a major part is already removed from the vehicle. Then you get a phone call explaining the situation and you get to make the decision to go ahead and fix it or not. They will only suggest things that will help you/save you money in the long run. They will NOT up sell you things you do not need and they will NOT just hang parts and hope it fixes the problem. They do a great job of taking the headache out of your car problems. I trust them for all repairs on my personal vehicle as well as two commercial vehicles. If you are a person who likes to shop around for the cheapest way to fix whatever problem you have at the moment this shop is probably not for you. I dont have to tell you, you get what you pay for. At Advanced Auto you get a quote up front (if you ask) and you pay for parts, and service, but you are also paying for peace of mind. Knowing that Mike, John, and Greg will get you back on the road quickly and most importantly you can depend on the work they perform. So have some confidence when choosing where to take your vehicle to be serviced and call Advanced Auto Service.

A job that was quoted to me as $550 with a 5-12 day unavoidable lead time on a part was done for less than $150. The mechanic discovered the electrical problem was a solder joint failure on the motor controller and resoldered it instead of replacing the part, saving a lot of time and money. I would recommend Advanced Auto Service in the future to anyone in the area. In a separate visit I was misquoted for a water pump replacement when the problem turned out to be a leaky temperature sensor. I was pretty disappointed considering my previous experiences here, but it just goes to show you that for expensive repairs (anything more than $200-300) always get a second opinion! The gentleman who diagnosed my problem not only was incorrect, but also recommended looking into a new car due to the expense of replacing the water pump compared to the value of the car, which I didnt appreciate... especially after I found out he was wrong. Ironically enough, this time the job was completed correctly by the mechanic who misquoted me in my first review! Overall, I trust this mechanic more than any other in the area.

Excellent service! My 08 Honda Odyssey was having intermittent AC issues. The first time I took it in he had nearly 2 hours working on it and it all the sudden for no reason started working. He charged a minimal diagnostic fee and told me he knew he had not fixed it and would be willing to look at it as soon as it stopped working again. Two days later it did stop working. He got me in the next day and was able to rapidly diagnose the issue and repaired it with minimal expense! I also questioned an issue with the vans power steering and instead of just fixing it and charging me, he gather all the info on an extension of the manufacturers warranty so that I could get it fixed for no cost. This shop and its owner are wonderful. Very honest and trustworthy!!!! I will never use another mechanic as long as this shop is open!
