After hauling in my toddler and 2 jumbo sized packages I was greeted with 2 front desk associates. One that immediately scoffed and the other that said, "after I am finished with this man I am closed." She was referring to the man in front of me.. Now mind you, this was at 6:35 pm. According to the hours sign they are open till 7. The other associate proceeded to wear her annoyance on her face until she realized my packages were in fact international. That is when she proceeded to tell me it would take to long for her to do tonight and I would need to come back the next day.. Again, this was at 6:35! 25 minutes wasnt enough time? Where is the customer service? No wonder every review is 1 star.. The associate proceeded to back pedal and ask if I "could" come back tomorrow as if she had given me a choice. Lost yet another customer to UPS, FEDEX, DHL.. All of which have shown at least a little customer service skill.

-Wont pick up the phone ever, lived here in town two years to date, and never once has the phone been picked up. -Ive gone in for information about a passport my head was snapped off. -Waited in like for 20 minutes before an attendant came out. -On top of all of that she barked orders at me which was openly disrespectful. -If there was another fully function branch close by Id go there first anyday if it means Ill be treated with respect! -I thought that people we supposed to do their jobs and treat others with respect. Terrible impression to leave on a 20 year old college student who looks to adults for examples. Someone is always watching. I Dont care if you hate your job, you are always free to find another career, you dont take it out on an unsuspecting customer who is not responsible for your misfortune. Good day!

USPS is worthless for anything past delivering your daily mail. I have never had a good experience with the company as a whole. But this post office specifically is bad because the staff is rude and doesnt give a crap about the individual. They only care about getting past you so they can get the next person. And they never answer their phone no matter how many times you call. The company cant even look up a lost tracking number saying "We dont have a database big enough to keep tracking numbers." They treat you like crap because they know they can get away with it because you cant live without them delivering your daily mail. If there was a way I would never waste my time with them and their worthless company with abysmal customer service.

They do not answer their phones at any time of the day. Processed an insurance claim and took it there for inspection. They failed to process their end of the claim, subsequently the timeframe ran out and the claim was denied. Now I have to file an appeal. Do not deal with Angie, or Dave (Rose Street station) or Tim (Brazil). Terrible customer service, rude. Customers with questions or issues are an annoyance it seems. No wonder everybody is switching to UPS, FEDEX or others. Maybe the federal government got something right, they should shut down the Postal Service, because for sure they are not "servicing" the community that is paying their salaries with our tax dollars.

Our local postal carrier is very rude, always leaving a notice or saying that she left a notice when none was left for our packages, when she does bother to do her job shes always honking into our driveway waking up our young children who take their afternoon naps. Weve asked her to not honk repeatedly, but she still does anyway. We tried to call about her at our local office to bring her to their attention, but no one answers the phone. We had to resort to going into the office on Margaret to complain, but all we were told was that there was nothing they could do. What a terrible way to run our local office. Rude staff, and rude carriers.

Racial profiling was seen plain as day. I saw an African American go up to pay for his shipping and after swiping his card the lady immediately asked for ID. He did not have it on him but she proceeded by saying she cannot accept the payment unless he has another card he can show her with the same name and signed in the back. After he left, I saw other customers go up and pay with card but she did not ask any of the customers for ID or other verification. Terre Haute USPS=Racial Profiling. And you ask why your losing customers.

For the past 2 years I have had multiple issues receiving my mail, no matter where Ive lived. It has cost me money due to them unable to deliver my bills, and I have even lost a few online purchases. Most of all, they never answer the phone, the information online is not helpful at all, and the customer service is beyond terrible. Im currently sitting here waiting because "you have to wait I want to go to lunch". This is the 3rd attempt to apply for my passport. Every time Ive missed the 3:15p.m. cutoff because of the workers.

Everyone in the Terre haute location is rude. And my grandma in Texas had shipped me some family heirloom and when I got the box it was all banged up and many of my thing were broken to the point of having to throw them away. And I got it days later than promised but when trying to call and see what had happen no one was willing to talk to me or even apologize for this. I now use UPS. It is a bit pricey but at least I know my stuff WILL arrive on time and in perfect condition.

They never answer the phone. And if you do get to talk to a real person it will only be once. Then you will be transferred to a line that just rings and rings or just goes strait to voice-mail. Good luck getting anything done over the phone. The 1-800-ask-usps told me to call the local office. The local office told me to call the 800 number. Seems like a run-a-round.

Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable each time I need to stop in. Both this location and the Rose Station employees obviously take a lot of pride in their work.

Same as Aaron. They couldnt transfer me fast enough to the line that no one answers. Then I called back multiple times and no one ever answered. Incredible!

They refuse to answer the phone. Other branches in the area will but this location will not. Seems to be a common problem with this office.
