I never write reviews of anything, but my experience at Salon Revolution was so horrific, I am writing for two reasons: I am angry and no one else should have to deal with the things I have post color, highlights and cut at SR. While Katie is a nice girl, she clearly has no idea what she is doing or she just doesnt care what she is doing. I did not used to have bangs, but post color at SR, I have them now. The damage (she requires sitting under the dryer with bleach on your hair -- and she refuses to use a toner) and bright orange highlights have required several hundred dollars worth of fixes at a different salon. I gave her a chance to fix it, and she seemed in a hurry and irritated to do anything. Everyone has those once a decade salon experiences that require a year or two to overcome -- going to SR is mine.

I switched to Katie for my hair cuts and colors after years with the same stylist because her location and hours were more convenient. I was pleasantly surprised that her prices were much lower. Shes funny, a good listener, and does a great job with my hair. Id been considering cutting bangs for years and she convinced me. Im so glad...I LOVE them! Her salon is small but so comfortable and I love that it is not pretentious. I highly recommend visiting Katie for a haircut or color. Be aware, the parking is metered on-street parking so have change handy. Also, Katie doesnt answer her phone when with clients but leave a message, shes always pretty quick to call back to schedule!

Katie at Salon Revolution is simply the best. She is so patient with my two young children, and gives them easy and adorable styles. I always love what she does with my hair - she listens well to what I want, and executes to perfection. Her prices are competitive, and she is always willing to work with my schedule, often fitting me in on very short notice. I would never go anyplace else - Salon Revolution has a customer for life.

I have super-short hair that was getting a little scruffy, not to mention going more than a little prematurely grey. Katie knew just how to deal with my super thick hair, gave me a fun, funky crop better than anyone in the big city I moved from ever managed to pull off, and added a little oomph to my natural color while covering those greys. Cant wait to go back!

Katie does a great job with my hair and her stories are fabulous, too! She works with my ideas , helped me through the grow-out stage and always has helpful suggestions. But the best sessions are when I say "Katie, got any ideas for a change?" The last time I said that, I walked lovin my new ombré do. Thanks, Katie!

I have been here for a haircut with Katie(Owner) about 5 times now. She has done an awesome job with my hair each time! With my very difficult cowlick she was able to work around it not being too familiar with the intensity of the thing! Katie is and always will be my go to girl for my salon needs!

I love Katie and her style. Shes been cutting and colouring my hair for years. Ive never walked away with a bad cut. My kids love her too. My teenage son will only get his haircut by Katie. Even when we moved away, shes the first person we stop and see when we return to town. Shes the best!
