HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I dropped by 6 month old car off at Baders shop for a full detail inside and out after the winter weather finally subsided. I dropped the car off on a Thursday evening, and I picked it up on Friday afternoon when I got off work. When I arrived at Baders shop, I noticed my car was backed into a parking space where tall grass covered the rear bumper area. I was instantly turned off by the poor wash my car received. Salt dust was still along the rocker panel and bumper of the vehicle. I immediately noticed a huge door dent on the my passenger side door, and Bader said he would have the dent taken care of by someone he knew in town. I let this issue go...accidents happen. After I turned my car on, I noticed the odometer had approximately 10 extra miles (I reset my trip meter when I initially dropped my car off). I still didnt say anything. After paying Bader and agreeing to have his friend fix my door dent, I went to a gas station down the road. As my car was filling up, I did a walk around inspection and noticed my rear bumper had a massive (6in in length) crack. The crack was covered up with matching touch-up paint, but I could still see some bright yellow paint where someone had apparently backed into something. I immediately returned to Baders to ask him what happened. When I returned, Bader had a very foul attitude - almost as if he was expecting me to return. He didnt own up to the damage, and refused to return my check. I called the police and filed a police report. The officer actually instructed me to contact the Better Business Bureau to pursue it further. He also encouraged me to spread the word on what a horrible business Bader was running. Bader refused to pay for the damage, but my insurance covered the cost of a new bumper. It was obvious he and the people that work for him are very unprofessional...I agree with the reviewer below from Aug 2011. Anyone with common sense can tell that nearly all of the reviews written below are from Bader himself trying to get customers to come to his shop. DONT BE FOOLED! He is a very shady business man that also charges way too much money for a poor detail job. Ive had much better details at half the price.

I was very pleased with this service- especially at the price. Ive never done a detail before, but i had a friend who did recently and she paid over $200 for the same quality. He got me in the day after I called, and since I am a student and would be in class all day, he both picked up my car and delivered it for free! He got out all the stains in my interior- places where chocolate and other stuff had fallen between seats and where gum had melted into a sticky mess in my ashtray. The inside looks better than when I bought it! There were a few spots on the outside where sap had permanently adhered to my car (courtesy of these darn iowa city trees) and he got most of them off. He said he would have done more but that he was in danger of removing my paint since it was so old. (Very true- Ive actually had the paint fleck off with just regular washing) I was very appreciative of his professionalism and the care he took to do the very best he could for my car without causing any damage. My trusty old Honda has a new lease on life and I am very happy! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that they missed one of my headlights- it was obviously dirtier than the other when it was returned. But I pointed it out and he said to bring it in the next chance I had and they would polish it up for free. No harm in being human :)

I called Baders shop looking for someone to detail my car. Owner quoted a price that was substantially lower than the 4 other places in the Yellow Pages, and said he could get me in "right away". When I drove up no more than 20 minutes later, there were three cars ahead of me, and the staff seemed VERY unattentive and unprofessional. Owner was communicating with his staff outside the shop in a way that made me feel sorry for them. One of them was asked a question directly by the owner, and he would not respond. I decided to take my car somewhere else instead of saving a few dollars with the lowest bidder. While I dont know the quality of Baders work, I felt very uncomfortable with the whole situation and didnt have confidence that my car would get the quality of service I expect.

I could not have asked for a better experience. I was desperate to have someone clean out my car after my street flooded and dirty rainwater soaked the floor of my car -- developing mold and mildew was a huge concern. Even though I did not have an appointment the owner --a very courteous and nice man-- told me to bring my car in right away. For a very reasonable price he removed the seats and carpet and vacuumed out all of the water and cleaned the carpet. The next day I was able to get my car and it was spotless -- clean and dry and no smell at all! The interior and dashboard had all been wiped down too and the car was so clean I felt like I was driving home a new car! I will recommend them to everyone I know.

I brought my car in after getting some over spray on it at work. My car was speckled with paint and felt like sandpaper. They didnt remove the over spray. Rather they buffed out the roughness and my car is still speckled. When I went to pick my car up the owner showed me my car in the dark garage so of course it looked okay (my car is black). After seeing it in the sunlight later on I called and told them. Went back to get a refund and the guy refused because I had taken my car already. Also when I showed up he was smoking a cigarette right by a customers car that had the door open.

My car had serious pen, dirt, and other stains throughout the vehicle. I have never had a car detailed before, but I took it to Bader as a last resort because I was tired of how awful it looked. No matter what I did, the stains and dirt would not go away. Bader promised that he could get the car looking as good as new, and he absolutely did. I feel as if I am driving a new vehicle. I can hardly believe it. The cost of the detailing was worth every penny. My husband saw what an incredible job they did and can hardly wait to take his vehicle there as well.

I absolutely loved the work and the employees. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. My husky shed a lot and they were able to get all the hair out and it even had a different smell after shampooing. I was impressed by how even my door jams were spotless. You can tell they take their time making sure everything is finished. From the engine compartment to the wheel wells they exceeded my expectations probably because the cleanest Ive ever gotten it was at a drive in car wash and vacuum. It was well worth the money.
