CHEATS!!!! BEWARE!!!! I took my car in to have it confirmed that I had a wheel bering going out. They told me I had both wheel berings going out and that the pads and rotars were shot too. After hearing this I took my car to my dads shop who is an ASE certified retired GM mechanic. The only problem with this is his place is hours away so was kind of a nervous ride for me. Well we got it up on his hoist and the brakes were fine so got parts I didnt need for them AND the wheel berings were fine. I was a broken hubcap that was making the noise I was hearing from the curb I popped. Also had a dented rim, the only thing this cheating place was honest about........ Wouldnt this place think that someone coming in with a general idea of what was thought to be wrong have more than common idea about cars??? so not only crooks but stupid crooks!

I have been taking my car to north liberty auto since they opened 20 some years ago. Over the years Ive tried other mechanics and Ive never had as good of an experience as I have at nla. The owner greets me everytime I come in, whether its just a question about my car or I need some work done to it. I love how I can trust everything they bring up to me. For instance, while doing an oil change they noticed my tires were dangerously bald. They look out for their customers. They have allowed me plenty of times to come out into the shop area and see for myself what problems they notice or are having. You are in good hands. If you werent, they wouldnt be in business for this long. Just sitting in their office and reading all the thank-you cards will tell you how much this business goes out of their way for their customers.

I would highly recommend North Liberty Automotive to anyone living in the area (or stranded as I was). I recently had extensive repairs done to my vehicle after it broke down while on vacation. The staff recognized my dilemma and worked diligently to get my car repaired in a timely fashion so I could return home. I found there customer service to be outstanding (they did not push products or talk over my head), the service to be professional and done as quickly as possible, and the mechanics to be highly skilled. There were also able to diagnose a problem with my check engine light that others couldnt figure out. Although I wasnt able to get it fixed at NL Auto, they showed me where the problem was so I could explain it to a mechanic when I got back home.

Terry kept me updated with special offers and rebates, was flexible with my schedule and had me in and out quickly. This team here at North Liberty Automotive is just fantastic. They got my car taken care of in no time flat and even gave me an amazing price. I would have paid triple had I taken it to a dealer. Not to mention they diagnosed the noises I was hearing when other places told me they couldnt find anything wrong. I highly recommend the work done by Gary, the owner and his team-Chad and Terri. I had a turn signal that didnt work. They quoted me a price of about $130 (in February) for a new turn signal switch and labor. I just toko it in a couple weeks ago and they said the price would now be over $300. Then I went and got my own turn signal switch (for about $35) put it in myself and found out it wasnt the problem. So they had never even checked it.

After two dealerships failed to properly align the wheels on my truck, I took it to North Liberty Auto on the recommendation of a friend. They sorted everything out, and even gave me the best price on tires I could find. I will definitely be taking my cars to them from now on.

My wife and I took our van in and they overcharged for all the parts. They didnt finish the job and still charged full price. I wouldnt take a bicycle in to have these crooks fix. If I could give -5 stars I would. Dont take your vehicle to this shop
