my boyfriend was going to rent 10 movies from this company , family video in ottumwa,ia.. he ended up only buying 1 movie and then . when i go to rent a movie here they are hounding me about his movie that he bought saying that it was late.. and this whole time the movie was bought and the idiot of a manager sold it to him on my boyfriends acct and rented it out to him on my acct and i now have all the late fees and he isnt taking care of it until i bring in prrof that we bought the movie when he was the dummy who dol the movie to him. really they need a new manager this manager is money hungry and is going to loose to loyal customers, redbox is better

I love going to Family Video! The employees there are great. I dont know of any other place that would work with me on my outrageous $200+ late fee. Most places would charge my credit card or file charges but Family Video and their employees work with me on it. Ive had a similar experience as the person below, where I thought I was paying for a movie but they didnt do it right in the computer so it showed up as a rental. I was kind of mad at first but they apologized and asked me to bring it in so that they could fix it. Simply as that and it was done. I think that the staff is awesome and I wouldnt go anywhere else.
