NTS Staffing is the worst company to work for. They dont care about their employees they only care about the money. Yes, they send you a $100 gift card for Christmas but its not worth the hell you have to endure throughout the rest of the year. They fail to understand that people have lives outside of work children, family emergencies, and people get sick. I was written up for having the flu, my child being sick and couldnt go to school and I had to call out. I was even written up because my license wasnt ready on the date they promised I would start working. Its not my fault that the analyst that was working on my license was out of the office and they wouldnt let anyone else in the office work on it. Kendra Smith wanted me to go to work when my daughter and I was sick. She is very nasty and unprofessional. She also told me since you have been out soo much we are going to cut your summer pay and the school isnt going to invite you back next year. She act like I was just calling out of work to go hang out or go shopping I had legitimate reasons. The benefits are horrible and very expensive. Also, this company tries to control your future by not allowing the school district you work for not to hire you with them for 1-3 years. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!! When I got pregnant, the doctor told me I couldnt walk up and down stairs, and the one of the schools I was assigned to had stairs everywhere. NO elevators. When I told Kendra Smith what the doctor said she was furious. Instead of her trying to find me another school without stairs she cut my hours. The company is dishonest and the people who work for them. The stuff NTS Staffing does cant be legal!!!

Former recruiter for this place and currently still a recruiter but for a far better company. If you browse reviews of this place you will immediately tell what type of company this is. People should never experience such a poor work environment that NTS has, it honestly is by far the worst place imaginable. The technology there is so outdated and its a small mom and pop shop ran by a father and daughter. The positive review above is the daughter. Yes she is probably having a great experience there because she runs the place because of her father. She is the worst person to work for, she has no communication skills whatsoever (towards internal employees). She may be savvy on the phone but I found her and NTSs "business practices" VERY unethical. They nickle and dime their healthcare employees like I have never seen, I cant believe its legal. Of course HER salary is going up because she is the only one with a computer and she monitors all the candidates so she has first pick of the good ones. Ive heard blatant lies being told to healthcare professionals just so she/internal employees could make a few extra dollars. I hate bashing companies like this but it is honestly a business that shouldnt be open, they are cheats. Dont work here as an internal employee, it is awful. Dont work here as an external employee, there are far better companies out there that will treat you well.

This place is by far the worst place in the Des Moines area to work. I would never recommend working for the current owner or the pathetic business that he has created…
