I have had a very pleasant experience working with The Right Staff. This was the first time I worked a job through a staffing agency and it has been great. I saw a listing for a position they were looking for on Indeed and after sending my resume they got back to me the day after. A week later I started a new job. It was the fastest I have ever been placed. When they recruit you, you have to go through an interview process, paperwork, and testing, which takes a few hours, but if you put in the effort and get though it, you are well on your way to finding a job that suits you. Mary from the Maple Grove office was my go-to person and was very proactive in checking in with me about my job to see how things were going. She is super nice and very personable so I recommend working with her. Another positive about The Right Staff, is in their job listings, they state solid bullet points on what skills are needed, how many hours the job is, and how much it pays. Every week, I was consistently paid for the work that I was doing. It was great and a lot better than being paid "twice a month." The one thing that I think could be improved is the amount of time someone is hired. My assignment recently ended, and I was told the same day that I was not needed anymore. It would have been nice to been alerted a day or two ahead of time so I could be prepared to be without a job again. There was no solid end date so it was all sort of fuzzy on how long it would last. But I was able to adapt, so not too big of a deal. Overall, my experience with The Right Staff has been a positive one. It really is a great source in helping people find jobs. If you have not checked them out please do so. My only wish is I hope they get more positions available that are directed towards art/design related fields. Minneapolis is a huge avenue for creatives and there is a lot of talent out there looking for good paying jobs.

The corporate website says that they accept walk-ins. When I got there I was told they were booked all day. I sat down in the lobby to wait for my friend who had an appointment, and was told I cannot sit in the lobby even though it was completely empty. I would understand if there there was no room and was asked to leave but we were the only people in there. I was told I would have to apply for a job online and then someone would email me to schedule an appointment. In no way am I eager to follow this convoluted process or to follow through with the hour+ long examination process that follows. Ive gone to other staffing agencies and have been in and out in under 15 minutes with no appointment. I cant speak for how well this company places employees, but it by no means has the most streamline application process.

I am currently working for The Right Staff; Ive been working with them since since September 2016. It is a great agency to work for; I have been working with Mary this whole time. She has always been quick to place me in a job that fits my skills, and is close to my home. I would recommend working with her because she is very friendly, and works with you to find the right job. The most recent job that Mary placed me at is the best job I have ever had.

The Right Staff was excellent in finding me a position that for my skills, they kept me informed as when my position would end and begun immediately trying to find me another assignment the quality of employment they provide and the information they provide about the assignment gives you every opportunity to prepare to represent them in the best way possible.
