My husband and I used Travel Leaders to book a cruise for our wedding. Having a destination wedding can be stressful especially when we had a handful of family and friends that absolutely had to be there. With that in mind, our travel agent and her team were able to turn a small group of 15 into 43 of our closest friends and family members! The price they got for the cruise and airfare was so great that a lot more of our friends and family could afford the trip! I was extremely grateful considering we were asking everyone to take time off of work and pay for their own trips. With such a large group, our travel agent was able to negotiate some extras for the trip like a FREE 2 hour open bar reception on the boat in our own private room after our wedding for our entire group and every room received a bottle of wine! We were very impressed with the professionalism and the knowledge that the Travel Leaders team provided. The manager of Travel Leaders even showed up at the airport the morning of our trip to make sure that everything went smoothly. It was already a stressful and emotional morning because of a famiy emergency the night before and two of our family members wouldnt be able to make the trip :( The Travel Leaders team helped them with the entire cancellation/refunding process! We tell everyone to use Travel Leaders and will definitely be booking more trips with them in the future!

The folks at Travel Leaders in Lawrence KS are amazing! Ive been a client for five or six years and have nothing but good things to say. Theyve helped me with so many international and domestic flights that I dont know where to begin singing their praises. Recently they helped me get tickets for my family from the Amazon Basin to Washington DC to Seoul, Korea. Wow, what a trip that was! Another time I ran into a hitch with a connection going from Dallas to Rio and my agent was right there with me on an emergency phone call handling the situation in a very satisfactory way. People ask me why I still use an agent with so many Internet options these days. Its because Travel Leaders always gets me an excellent price with great customer service. And when theres a problem or question theyre there to help.

My wife and I recently returned from a two-week journey bookended by stays in Istanbul and Venice, with an Oceania Cruise connecting those two cities by way of the Greek Isles and several Adriatic ports, and Travel Leaders did a five-star job in arranging passage on Oceania, setting up the necessary flights from Dulles International to Istanbul and back, setting up a guide service for us in Istanbul and Ephesus, and overseeing the details for the entire trip. The best recommendation we can give Travel Leaders---and our travel manager there, Dave Bonnel---is this: we have called on Dave and Travel Leaders to arrange our trip next summer (2015) for a tour of Scotland that includes golf at four courses and two days at the Open Championship at St. Andrews.

My wife and I seldom use travel agents, but in this case we were planning a rather extensive family trip and we wanted to be sure we were getting everything set up correctly. Our experience with Travel Leaders has been excellent. Dave gave us more information and tips on places to stay and things to do then we could have imagined. He was extremely helpful and contacted us via email and phone several times during the process of getting reservations set up. He never hesitated to answer a question or find out the answer to a question if it was one he did not already know. My wife and I would highly recommend him for any travel related plans where some expert advice and assistance is needed.

Weve worked with Dave at Travel Leaders twice and had phenomenal experiences both times. Hes organized, responsive, efficient and hes a true travel expert. I appreciate that I can give him a general outline of the vacation Im imagining and he makes thoughtful recommendations that are right on point. Booking travel online is really accessible these days, but also comes with a lot of risks. Zero stars! Very unprofessional, dishonest, grossly negligent and expensive. Dorothy did not inform me of a transit visa requirement and left me stranded in Fiji, and now she is lying about having tried to help me when in fact she simply packed up and left office at her regular time. Never even a hint of apology. So much for their claim "we offer traveler support before, during and after your trips". Dont expect any help from this group - theyll rip you off.

Ive had great experiences working with Chris, Carol, and Dave on domestic travel as well as taking large groups of students on international trips. They have always been professional and extremely helpful. Theyve gone out of their way to help travelers in our group with complicated issues evenings and weekends.
