I have two children, ages 7 and 5. I discovered this child care facility through a friend. My 5 year old attended the Pre-K daycare program this past year. WOW! is all I can say. This facility is organized and cared about my child and her learning needs. They made each of the children feel special. They have 3 turtles, Larry, Curly and Moe, that are a hit among all children. Ms. Sally makes breakfast time fun. For discipline the instructors use the redirect or time out techniques. The center has organized day schedules, which often included outdoor time and structured learning. My daughter has entered Kindergarten and is well ahead of the other students in her class. Crestwood Child Care and Learning Center loved her, challenged her and helped her to build confidence that is unheard of with other centers. Yes, the building is not new, and its seen more than one coat of paint. I can attest that each of the teachers and staff members keep the center extremely clean. It doesnt smell like a bleach factory, but rather like a clean well-loved home. I only wish I would have known about this center sooner so that my son could have attended. Thank you to the staff for taking care of my daughter on a daily basis and all of the love and knowledge you poured into her. Aubreys mom

I only went on a tour to see the place. What I saw made me nervous. There were a lot of kids on the playground, a few adults, but no interaction with the kids. None. I kept watching for it, but nothing, the adults huddled together and talked. Inside there was one room with kids watching a big tv and two kids in time out. The teacher made fun of one of the kids because he wasnt sitting in time out right. In a room towards the back of the building there was another large group of kids watching even a larger television. It was pretty dark and over the loud sound of the tv I could here a teacher barking at the kids to be quiet and listen to the cartoon (ninja turtles). I never spoke with the director, only the assistant. Not only does the packet not impress me but not one single staff member or the facility deserves serious consideration.

Our son loves going to his daycare. The building is old and...yes a little strange in its set up, but the peoplethat care for my child really care for him. They take a distict interest in him and interact well. My son started going there at 7 weeks old. The infant ratio is 4:1 and there are two large nursery rooms that are attached. The rooms are rather large and give plenty of room for the children to play. The staff not only takes an interest in getting to know the child but the parents as well. They are a wonderful daycare and after lots of searching rather affordable in price.

This school is amazing, we love every single teacher in there, my daughter had a very tough time at the Learning Garden, and ever since I switched her to Crestwood Childcare and learning center she has done amazing. They sincerely care about your child, and you feel comfortable leaving your child with them to go to work!
