Mindas in Frankfort, KY SUCKS!!! theyre cheating lying bastards. I went there not to long ago for an oil change on my car (first and last time Ill have it done there) and I told them I wanted pure synthetic 5w30. I told them I had a coupon that said 19.99 for the regular oil change with tire rotation, but before i can tell him i wanted pure synthetic because its the only kind of oil my car would run smooth with, he just wrote it and went on. so i had to stop him and told him i wanted synthetic, so he went to the door entering the shop and screamed something out. see, i dont mind paying the extra money just as long as they did it right, but when i got my receipt it said, regular oil, 10w40 and i was like, whats this.. they guy who took my payment was like."oh no, its synthetic oil, it just printed out to this.. and no one uses 10w40 anymore its all 5w30" so he crosses it out with a pen and changed it.. yea.. good service?? i think not!! . i was like ok. i hope your not lying to me.. so on my way, i felt a different vibe on my car..it didnt feel right, but i was going, maybe my car was getting used to that brand or the tire rotation just made it feel different. but when it started getting cold, after work, i would start my car and let it run for a bit to get the engine started, now when i would move a loud annoying sound would go off. i told my brother about it and he said it could be the oil change, so he went to check, not even a month after the oil change, my oil is dirty and there are metal pieces in the oil. my brother volunteered to change my oil, now i have to spend an extra 40 bucks to have my oil change the right way when it was supposed to be right the first time. what a waste of 60 dollars. they talk smack about valvoline, but valvoline was more accurate and gave me the right kind of oil that i paid for. never go to this stupid shop! its a waste of time!!!! and a WASTE OF MONEY!!! bad f**ken service ever!!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! This is a terrible place to go, they do great business, and the staff is friendly but when it comes to actual maintenence you can do much better, my vehicle initially went in to have the catalytic converters replaced and the exhaust repaired... it took about 2 weeks. Now I understand it takes a min to get parts in.. OK cool, when i get it back there was still an exhaust leak and the transmission was acting up, so I take it to the dealership thinking I needed a new transmission... they do their diagnostic and find that both the new pre cats and the end cat assembly are clogged ), I asked if they could double check as all that was just replacedand thats what was causing the tranmission issue. Aggrivated I bring it back and they swear up and down that it was nothing they did.. they kept it for a week didnt even write up a ticket on it, so know one knew what was going on with it and they end up replacing the end cat assembly.. Ive had it back almost a week now and there is still a major exhaust leak, which is something that could have been caught if they actually test drove the vehicle or even started it and bumped the throttle under the hood.. needless to say I will never be taking any vehicle back to them.. I probably wouldnt even trust them to change my oil at this point... overall they have a good business sense and a friendly staff but their mechances need to go back to school and learn how to trouble shoot and repair

Excellent service. Goodyear quoted me over $500 to replace rear breaks and told me I needed to replace a faulty emergency break pedel (even though I just spent over $1800 with them to get 4 new tires, an allignment and front breaks....but no one noticed the rear breaks?? Yeah...ok). I took it to Midas, and it turns out the problem was clogged break lines. $133 to fix. They did great work, were very professional, informative, and took time to talk to me and educate me about other potential problems with my particular make and model of vehicle. This was no slap job at all! My vehicle runs 10 times better and my gas milage has improved drastically! They even took my online coupon! Thanks Josh (manager) and thanks R.L. (serviced my vehicle)

Last week, I got my 2008 Kia Sportage towed to this Midas store as it wont start. It seems to have an electrical issue and they troubleshooted for an hour or so but could not figure it out. When I called next day, they said they are still working on it. Same is the case for the next 3 days. They finally called and said that they cannot figure it out and asked me to tow it somewhere else. I know its very difficult to troubleshoot electrical issues but I thought a renowned place like Midas could figure it out.

I would recommend that anyone needing routine or major maintenance/repairs make the trip out here. The owner is honest and helpful and clearly knows what he is doing. He is someone who will not trick you into spending money- in fact, he will let you know when it is not prudent to spend money on something. I will always come to this shop, regardless of the 40-minute drive to Frankfort.

Had a great experience at Midas today! They were busy, but fit me in even though I didnt have an appointment. When things slowed down the mechanic (Steve) even took the time to walk me through how the brake job worked while he was doing it, really interesting (and gave me the old part to show my husband!). Great staff, competent and low pressure, theyve earned my business!

Wife went to Midas in frankfort ky on 2/27/17. The thermostats had to be replaced on a 94 Honda Accord lx. She had the part that I picked up at OReilly. A hose also had to be changed. I guess she couldnt wait for me to replace it. Total invoice 225 dollars for a 20/30 min job. This is insane do not go there they overcharge you.

Avoid the Midas in Frankfort KY on US 127 South like the plague! They buy parts from junk yards! With receipt in hand from the junk yard that Midas in Frankfort purchased it from, they denied it. I will be bringing them to their knees for deception!
