I called Allen Electric to have them replace six two pronged outlets with three pronged outlets, and also to get an estimate on repairing two non-functioning fluorescent lights. Chris came out on June 17th, and replaced the six outlets. After discussion with him, I decided to have him remove the ballast in one of the fluorescent lights, and rewire it to accommodate an LED bulb. Chris also gave me estimates on several things I might want done in the future. I was very satisfied with the service I received from Allen Electric, including a free follow up trip when I had trouble figuring out why the LED bulb I bought didnt work, and Chris provided great service. I do however wish that Allen didnt charge a $45 dispatch fee just to come look at something or give an estimate.

I have been reminded every day since having the work done what a great choice I made in using Allen Electric. I just bought a house and it needed a number of electrical upgrades, and AE was able to do everything I wanted in a single day. I have many new outlets, a safer panel, a complete grounding and breaker system, and a newly installed ceiling fan. I was impressed by how much Chris explained everything that needed to be done and the options I had for each. I will definitely use Allen Electric in the future when installing new lights or having any other work done.

This is the third time Ive used Allen Electric and I couldnt be more pleased. Each time I was told the cost up front and given a written agreement, and each time they made sure the work was done to my satisfaction. I find their prices to be fair, especially considering the amount of work being done. I wish all the contractors Ive had in my house during my renovation were as thorough, pleasant and considerate as Allen Electric has been. Special thanks to Chris and his crew for being such a pleasure to work with.

Had allen electric cone to my house to flip a panel box from one side of interior wall to the other. After spending almost two hours and charging me 108$ for the quote. He told me that it would be over $5200 to do the job. Because he had to basically rewire half the house....had two other liscensed electricians quote me 600-800. They are a fraud. Trying to screw you...

Its 50$ to even get them out to check anything out, and when he got here he Charged $200 to reset a breaker. Literally. He was here for 15 minutes. The MINIMUM fee is $200 for anything. Also got a quote for some ceiling lighting and was given a price of $2500-$3600 dollars for 4 ceiling lights. Called Stansbury Electric for the same job, $700.

Very good work and Daniel was super. They have had 2 price increases in the past 3 years though. What cost me 500.00 3 years ago was going to be 12-1600.00. We could only afford part of the work we needed done. Would love to have them back but have to find a contractor more in our moderate price range. Their work is excellent !
