I recently went to this salon to get a massage. They have a great ongoing special with their newest massage therapists (ask). I walked into this place, was immediately taken care, asked if i wanted a drink...typical, polite customer service I would expect from any salon. I have been to several other local spas for massages and also tried independent local massage therapists.... While I had very positive prior experiences, none of them compelled me to call back. I felt good, but just as good as any other massage. This experience was different...My massage therapist (Whitney) gave me the most relaxing and therapeutic massage I have ever received. (It was friggin phenomenal) I explained to her my problem areas, she asked me to smell various scents to determine which aroma to use, and then the massage began. I work out on a frequent basis and Whitney knew the exact techniques to alleviate the built up tension in my muscles. She adjusted her pressure at the right moments with out me saying a word (shes a muscle whisperer) and overall turned my muscles in putty. I was so pleased, I scheduled another massage before I left the salon. While I cannot validate this salons other services: hair, nails, facials, etc., I can say that they have GREAT, well trained, professional therapists and found a new repeat customer.

I had just gotten my hair highlighted & cut 6 weeks ago here . I liked it okay the first time. I decided to try it again. The second time, I specified when making the appointment that I would just need a quick thinning out for my thick hair since I am growing it out & had gotten it cut last time. Wasnt told that a 5 min. run through with the thinning scissors would be $48, same price as an actual haircut. This was actually more than I was charged for my haircut 6 weeks ago!! That is ridiculous!! I have never had to pay even 1/2 of that for that service, especially when my haircut 6 weeks ago was also done here. And I was getting my hair colored too. I complained that I should have been told this. They would not budge even after they had re-scheduled me once, then trying to re-schedule me once I got there. They found someone to do it, but I thought the reason I was re-scheduled in the first place was because the original guy who had cut my hair couldnt do it on the first day I had scheduled. Also, the girl who had done my color last time was gone. Seems like theres high turnover. The person who thinned my hair out didnt even do it enough. Im going to have to get it done somewhere else in just a couple of weeks. Definitely wont be going back. I know I can find cheaper, better service elsewhere.

Niran is amazing! Not only did she fix my horrible hair cut from another salon, but every time I go in I leave with my hair looking straight out of a magazine. I have trust issues when it comes to my hair, but Niran could do anything with my hair and Id probably love it! Shes so sweet and friendly. Every appointment Ive had with her she starts with the most relaxing neck/shoulder/scalp massage, which she carries over into the shampoo and a hand massage while she conditions my hair. I literally have to try to not to fall asleep. Shes very gentle and she listens to what you want and then does it. I highly recommend her and the salon. Theyre such a warm welcoming staff and they dont push products on you. However I did buy the volumizing tonic because it smelled so good when she used it on my hair. If you want your hair done right and you want a relaxing spa experience go see Niran at Omagi she is worth every penny and then some!

This place is way too overpriced for the result you get. You can definitely find other place for affordable price and be satisfied with all you need to get done, be much more happy customer! People seem nice, nothing personal, just professionally i had negative experience in Omagi, i had expected more from this place, from hair master whos prices are higher than other masters, the result i got was so-so. The management agreed to undo masters mistake by offering me service for free but I dont feel like going back to that place and i dont want to trust my hair to these people. Its not only about money but about satisfaction in general, Id better pay even more but get what i want. So, I wouldnt suggest this place to any of my friends. Just take your time, search around, there are so many salons and spas around that area!!!

I have been to Omagi many times after having been to most every other salon in Louisville over the past few years. I can honestly say I have never been treated better or been happier with my hair! I always leave feeling like a million bucks! It is so welcoming and inviting too. I have experience with 3 different stylists there now and have absolutely loved each one. They are truly the best in the industry. My haircut is so well done that I can shower and simply shake my head and my hair just naturally falls into place! I highly recommend Omagi and its wonderful talented staff to anyone looking for the best haircut and experience of their life.

I recently returned to Louisville and could not get an appt. with Z Salon, so I tried Omagi, which I will never do again. I asked for a partial highlight, specifically requesting someone in the $60 price range. I get there and the girl was very nice and knowledgeable and began working on my hair, mentioning it would be $80. I was frustrated but agreed since shed already began. Then, when I went to the register, they charged me $100!! I asked about the discrepancy and they said "well they blew your hair dry". I did not ask to have it dried and was not told of the increase in expense to have it dried, or else I would have left with wet hair. Ug!

I recently tried this salon, as Ive been a loyal client to Salon Z, but Omagi is closer. I got a manicure. My nails we misfiled, uneven and shaped wrong. I asked for one shape and got another. She also split some of my nails! The polish was a mess, it looked like a 5 year old painted my nails. I had to go to another salon to have my nails fixed! The salon was empty, I now see why. Its an unpleasant atmosphere. The whole place feels rather wooden and empty. Im a fan of Aveda, but will not be returning.

Great experience, friendly staff and possibly one of the best hair cuts Ive had! I would reccomend it to anyone who asked me and already have to my friends and family. Also, to add to the great experience I had, there are tones of stuff to do afterwards because of the salons great location, i.e., coffee, drinks, dinner and many different shops to browse. If youre looking for a great experience and an awesome new look then Omagi is definitely a great choice!

I received a haircut at the salon and was very pleased so I booked color. One of the worst experiences ever. I was quoted one price when I booked the appointment, but once I got in the salon chair the price nearly doubled. I was passed off to three people before they agreed to discount the price, not honor the initial quoted price. Needless to say its not about service.
