Best Gym in Town Hands Down! New equipment, All fitness types will find what they need. Powerlifting / Crossfit / Tons of cardio machines that actually work unlike the other gyms in town. Im no girl, but if I were, Id appreciate their secluded area with all the equipment you need, away from everyone else. Almost always empty, which I love, but kind of worry about as gyms have come and gone over time. super inexpensive tanning, huge selection of supplements and Ready-To-Drinks. Staff treats me like a brother. Other people here are super nice but not in that creepy "Club" gym type way. Membership rates are as cheap as you are going to find anywhere in Louisville and they dont hassle you like the corporate LA Fitness, Urban Active and LAC. Never tried to sales pitch me or play sneaky, just asked me my situation and layed out the most ideal package. Felt too good to be true, but a year later, I see it really wasnt. They are just a family operation. Cant say enough nice things about it. Hopefully youre lucky enough to live close enough to it!

The gym is OK but lacking many of the niceties of large gyms or cleanliness of smaller ones. For the price Id find another gym. The weekend hours are not very convenient personally. Lastly I found the management to care very little about people and customer satisfaction. After failing to deliver on a verbal agreement they continued to charge another monthly fee after they charged a cancellation fee a month before. When asked to refund the money I was told my only option was to reject the charge and fight it out with collections. When I asked to speak with the owner I was told "that is why he has managers, to handle stuff like this so he didnt have to." When I said that one of the reasons I left is because they werent honoring what they said they would multiple times, and they lost my money because of it. The response was "Were not losing any money over it." Literally they did, but I can see where my membership means very little in the grand scheme of things.

I love powerhouse Gym! My husband and I go here and right away everyone was friendly and helpful! The gym is big enough that you always have a machine to use and you also have enough space to do anything you want! The whole staff is tremendous and very professional! We train with Mike and he is outstanding! I have never found a gym like powerhouse before!

This review is for the massage therapy with Sarah East. She is very knowledgeable and professional. I felt great after my services. I would definitely recommend her and plan to return. I got a deep tissue and while it hurt during, I felt so great afterwards! I didnt realize how much tension I had in me. Great service for a decent price. :)

Awesome Gym! I moved up from Lexington a few months ago and my Fiance goes to this gym so i signed up as well. Very reasonable memberships and great atmosphere. Its ran by a great family that actually care about their customers. I dont know to many other gyms where you can be working out and get a spot from the owner.

great gym, one of if not the best in louisville. if you are serious about training, come here. to the previous comment ive never had any billing problems, been here for 2 years. not worth the hassle?! lol i drive 30 minutes out of my way just to come to this gym.

Love love this gym! My boyfriend & I just moved here for his job and we love going there! Very friendly atmosphere, awesome staff, the gym is really really clean & you can do any workout possible there! I highly reccomend it!

they like to double bill your accounts and then give you hassel about refunding the extra money they took out. this is a gym is not worth all the hassel by no means. BEWARE!!!!
