Pros: serious atmosphere (this place is the anti-Planet Fitness) plenty of weights great location no bank draft or other shenanigans Cons: price has doubled in the past 2 years ($300 for a year) no showers--so much for working out before work. no area for stretching/abs. very old and in some cases rusted equipment. an upstairs area designed for posing?

A bit small but I have no complaints... My apartment complex nets me a free membership. This is also a hardcore gym. People who are serious about weightlifting come here. With that being said, I am not one of those people and I feel comfortable being there.

This is the place to go if you are serious. Dumbbells for days. Several squat racks. If you are tired of watching people sit on equipment playing on their phone at your gym come to The Factory Gym. Rule #1 must grunt.
