I have been coming to Air on and off since they first opened their BR salon and I absolutely love it. There are very few things I can justify splurging on - but Air is definitely one of them. Everyone from the front desk to the stylists are sweet, personable, and professional - theyre quick to offer water, coffee, or a mimosa when they check you in for your appointment. If you like a very zen, calm salon, Air might not be your top pick, but I love that all the stylists are very friendly and often stop to take a look at what their colleagues are doing and offer compliments. I recently decided to go for the "big chop" and cut my shoulder length hair into a pixie cut, and my stylist Melisa was with me every step of the way - for a consultation and for the actual cut. She did a phenomenal job and Im so glad I had a stylist I could trust for such a big change. She took all of my needs into account and carefully referred back to my reference pictures throughout the cut so that she could make sure it would turn out the way I wanted it to. Not to mention that she was a total sweetheart and made me feel so much more confident about cutting all my hair off! Bottom line: come here to be pampered, listened to, and taken care of. Their blowouts are luxurious and everyone is friendly!

What ever happened to customer service!!!! Made an appointment for a keratin treat at 4pm on Saturday. I received a call from them that afternoon that they were running late and would I agree to come to the appointment 30-45 min later. I arrived at 4:40 to accommodate the delay with their scheduling. When I arrived I was told that they would not be able to fit me in because the treatment was a two hour treatment and that they closed at 6pm. I obviously chuckled thinking they were kidding. They then asked me if I would be interested in rescheduling. I explained that I Accomodated them by showing up 40 min after my appointment time on a Saturday evening. The curt lady behind the desk thank me for that and then once again said that they closed at 6 so since my treatment took two hours they obviously could not finish before closing. I agreed and said I showed up late to help your schedule you are not going to stay open. She responded that she appreciated that and would be happy to reschedule me to another day. I was blown away by their lack of concern with Scheduling or the customers. I Would Not recommend this place!

Always an amazing experience from start to finish at Air Salon & Blow Dry Bar in Mandeville! The atmosphere and decor are amazing, the staff is always warm and inviting and I always leave happy. When making reservations: it couldnt be easier or more pleasant. I am always warmly greeted when I call to schedule my appointments. It is refreshing to speak to a salon that is kind and accommodating. My stylists always vary and each one has been exceptional to work with. Ive also had a variety of services and have always left extraordinarily happy. Let me tell you though - the Keratin Therapy Treatments are life changing!!! I highly recommend this salon for blow outs and any other service they offer!

I am avid about my hair, what girl isnt? When I heard about Air Blow Dry Bar & Salon I rushed in! That was a year ago, and the best decision I could have ever made for myself. The level of service, passion, and drive this group has for their clients is unmatched! I purchased the monthly membership and never looked at another blow dry bar again! For every special event, or just to make yourself feel better on a gloomy day, Air Blow Dry Bar is the place to go! From hair to makeup applications, to guest services, this team is a step above the rest. Baton Rouge is a better place because they opened here! My hair is better because of Air!

Came here today and got a balayage done by Dallas. I had been to a previous salon and they made my hair all one dark flat color and turned my roots a different color than my hair! I explained all of this to Dallas and she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted from the color to curling my straight short hair at the end (which nobody has ever done). She knows what shes doing and her confidence made me confident that my hair would turn out great. It was so nice being able to relax and know my hair would look amazing afterwards. Will be back for sure!

Came out of here hating my hating my hair twice. I asked for a touseled layered bob with light blonde tips that bayalage into my natural hair color. What I got was a blunt bob with highlights. The first go round when the stylist rinsed and toned my hair the toner she used dulled the color too much so she asked me to come back to put more color in it. The second visit felt rushed, she hurriedly colored and styled my hair so she could take her after picture. Now Im left debating whether or not to shell out more money to get some one to fix the cut.

Very easy to make appointments, they are highly professional. In a sense that youll also receive reminders for your appointment, and they always double-check in with you. I couldnt appreciate that more, especially if you are a busy person with a hectic workload. I received a great haircut, and had a really nice conversation with everyone. The staff here is very friendly, everyone talks to you and each other. So you really get the full treatment. Great place to grab a haircut, style, and chat with the lovely people here. My recommendations.

I have been going to Air Salon & Blow Dry Bar for a few years. I have had nothing but positive experiences! After telling Nicole what I want, she takes time to explain how she plans to cut my hair making sure I know how it will look when she is done! She went above and beyond during my last appointment to make sure my hair would still look GREAT the next evening for an event I attended! I love that they give teachers a discount! This place is top notch!

Air Salon & Blow Dry Bar on Perkins Road is one of the friendliest places in Baton Rouge. I always leave the salon feeling uplifted and of course my hair looks fabulous. Shannon always greets me with a big smile! She is efficient and is great at giving advice when it comes to trying new styles and colors. Everyone at the front desk is welcoming and easy to talk to. I recommend Air Salon to anyone looking for a new hair style.

The stylists are very accomplished and many of them hold multiple licensed in the beauty industry and in multiple states. They bring work experience from L.A. to New York and everything in between. Went to get my hair dyed 3 times for the same type treatment every time and each experience was more expensive than the last. The stylist did not listen to what I wanted and gave me the wrong color twice but I honestly couldnt afford to get it corrected. It is overpriced and not worth the time. Took twice as long as other salons. Dont waste your time.
