Im not even sure where to begin. Probably with how rude and unhelpful the lady with curly black hair at the desk was; if you see her, wait for another worker. Trust me. But my main beef would be that I havent been to the gym in months because of the crap they pull with payments. I had my account and all was fine at first, with the money coming out if my SAVINGS. But then I had a problem a few months in and went to ask a question and they told me theres no way its coming out of my savings. They have record of it being paid. I have digital statements on my phone of it being paid the same dates and saying it came from my savings, but they wanted me to drive over an hour for a paper statement from my nearest bank. So I just went along and changed it to my checking account. Since then NOTHING has come out for my payments. No one listens when I say I never had an issue with it coming out of my savings. They are adamant that it is my fault, that I gave them incorrect information, and I need to go talk to my bank or set up with a different account. They want to charge me a ton of fees for a problem that is obviously theirs since I went months with it being paid just fine, and long story short I havent gone there in months. I dont know whats happening with my account and I really dont care. It was a horrible experiance as a first time gym goer. Terrible service, confusing payments. I even asked if I could just come in and pay my balance in full every month in case you were wondering, and the answer was no. No more black card. No more Planet Fitness. NO MORE STRESS.

They charged my savings, they tried to lie to me and tell me they didnt. Ok Im wrapped up in a hospital bed in quarantine. Ill be here for a week or longer.You have to cancel before the tenth of each month. I tried to cancel my account and they argued with me that I had to be there in person or mail them something. I obviously cant mail out anything or go there in person for the next week or so as I am in the hospital for heart issues and they tried to tell me that its the only way I can cancel and that I owed them money and I have to pay before I can cancel they try to strong-arm me. Only after she talked to her manager and I had to threaten with the lawyer and the fact that Im here in the hospital for way too long to be able to get it in time. they finally manually cancel my account its pretty sad. Planet fitness is a sad excuse for a buisness

Planet Fitness makes it impossible to cancel your membership and will continue to draw on your account after cancellation. We were moving to an area with no Planet Fitness so we cancelled IN PERSON as the contract deems a requirement. However, two weeks later the annual fee was drawn on our account. We called to find out why and we were told we were still active members and they had no record of our cancellation. We again cancelled and also sent a letter. However, two weeks after this our monthly fee was drawn on our account. When calling, we were again told there is no record of cancellation on our account. It has now been two months since cancellation and we have yet to see a refund. We were told by a manager that it is a "corporate decision" if we will receive our refund. We will never again join this gym and cannot recommend them.

Very unimpressed, staff is not very helpful unless you are buying something, they dont cover anything on your agreement with you, mine offered to throw it away for me even when I signed up. I got hospitalized, then injured, made it in one time over 2 months. I cancelled, they neglected to inform me I had a charge pending even after specifically asking if I was going to be charged again. When you look the company up on the consumer affairs page, they have a long history of not openly disclosing fees, rather, tucking them into an agreement they dont cover with you at all at sign up. Even on their membership website, the only openly noted fee is the monthly fee. Dishonest business practice overall.

Good Gym but they are aweful at trying to keep tabs at trying to bill you I just called them up about a transaction of 30$ that I wasnt expecting when a week before after multiple times trying to get my account number changed over cuz their website wouldnt work and the staff were too lazy to do so, come to find out today after 2 1/2 months when dealing with as much from fees and apparently being told "insufficient funds" from a transaction they tried taking out in February, which I know I paid, and march which I know I paid, and april which I have a receipt for I owe almost 100$ , THIS IS NOT FAIR I WILL GO TO A CREDIT SERVICE ABOUT THIS IF IT IS NOT HANDLED

I cant get Planet Fitness to stop the membership. I wrote them two months ago telling them I wanted to stop my membership, they are still charging my account. Bad move on my part to join this business. I will try one more time to contact them. Contacting my bank to inform them not to allow the charges anymore. I will post on Facebook what has happened just to warn others.

I am using PF as an extension or in addition to my Cardiac Rehab. I am a Black Club member so I can enjoy the free tanning and massage couch with I use to reward myself after a 2 hour work out. It truly is a no judgement zone. I see people of all ages there from their 20s to their 70s. Everyone does there own thing and minds their own business. The staff is friendly.

Ive been going to this gym for two years now and are extremely satisfied with everything they offer. Equipment is top knotch, ALWAYS clean and staff is always helpful! We travel to Boston every Sunday and while we are there we workout, our home gym is great but for the most part all the planet fitness gyms we have traveled to are pretty great as well!

Let me preface this... I NEVER WORK OUT. I came to PF on Broadway with a friend as a guest, and it was a great experience. Very clean, non judgemental place, complete with easy to follow diagrams on machines that tell you what youre working on and how to do it. If I choose to start working on regularly, this would be my go to.

While most businesses rest on their success, the leadership at Planet Fitness continues to push the bar. New machines that are well maintained, more space, great staff and clean clean clean. Highly recommend this gym, especially the 30 minute circuit at the rear of the complex. A +.

Farthest thing from a judgement free zone. When you come in looking to get a membership and the woman working the counter looks at you on crutches and asks "what can you even do here?" I will not be getting a membership and wouldnt recommend anyone go there with staff like that.
