Admiral Cleaners offers a printable coupon on their Internet site for $3 off a dry cleaning order of $15 or more. One morning I dropped off three orders of clothes, explicitly arranging them in bundles that would each total $15 or more and letting the staff member know what I was doing. She even told me the prices of cleaning the items to assist me in this. When I went to pick up, in the evening a few days later, the staff member from drop off was not working. Yolanda insisted they must all be rung up as one order and steadfastly refused to honor coupons for the second and third order. She and coworker Candace hid behind a purported lack of authority and lack of anyone with higher authority still on the premises, and claimed to be unable to contact anyone with higher authority. I left with one order, then decided to return and retrieve my other garments to prevent the possibility of them getting "lost." Yolanda was on the phone telling a supervisor that I had come in and "acted a fool." Candace and Yolanda actually said, "Are you for real?" and Candace was chuckling. These staff members did not make any attempt to assist me or resolve the situation in an amicable way. Instead, they seemed to enjoy antagonizing me. When I used the phrase "you girls" they got fussy and said, "We aint [sic] girls, we ladies." This merchant chose to be tight-fisted over $6 on a total of about $52 in services rather than sustain good relations with a new customer. The merchant also does not give any indication on the coupon page that they would enforce such a policy. It simply says $3 off on a $15 order, and does not give any warning that all pickups by the same customer on the same day must be counted as one order. Furthermore, I explicitly declared my intentions to the staff member when I dropped off. Also, they refused to budge even though this business offers free pickup and delivery and I did not have them make use of that, saving them the related expenses. When I returned to retrieve my remaining garments, Yolanda was curiously able to ring those items separately and apply a second (but not third) coupon, exposing the claim that "the computer will not accept it" as not accurate. Based on this experience, it seems this business wants to offer an inducement to use its services but wants to try to limit the customers ability to actually take advantage of that offer by creating unnecessary (and undisclosed) obstacles. From what I can tell, the dry cleaning and pressing services were of adequate quality. The staff were also initially accommodating in that I did not have my tickets and they were able to find my garments by my last name. I would like to have seen this willingness to accommodate persist throughout the transaction.

I suggest not giving them any business. I trusted Admiral Cleaners with all of my clothing, accessories, purses, shoes and so on and they lost a very expensive skirt along with a very expensive leather skirt that my husband purchased for me. They have gave me the run around since November about reimbursing me for my lost items as they continue to claim the lost on a leather company out of Pennsylvania! This has been the worse experience of my LIFE! 6 months later and i still dont have my items nor have i been reimbursed. I left tons of Voicemail messages for managers and they fail to return any of my calls. I am beyond frustrated at this point and even stressed sometimes getting severe headaches concerning this ongoing situation. I just want it to be over !!! They are unsympathetic and dont care whatsoever.

Used this cleaners for years but the prices just keep going up..I just picked up 3 pieces that I dropped off on Monday a suit and a simple short dress that I had cleaned and it was $38. Time to find a new cleaners
