Made appts for blow outs and makeup for my nephews wedding for myself, my daughter and the grooms grandmother. While my daughter was getting her hair washed, her stylist came up and asked what she wanted done. My daughter didnt really know but I suggested maybe half up, maybe a bun where upon the stylist says she doesnt do updos. And not in a nice way. I went up to the manager and asked for another stylist. Meanwhile, the grandmother was getting her hair done and instead of being nice and fluffy, it was flat against her head. Then my daughter, who is 28, was getting Heidi braids in her hair. I was totally amazed at the level of incompetence and lack of understanding of how to do womens hair was. I was the lucky one - Jeff did my hair and Tara did my make up - no issues with either one. Jeff tried to redo my daughters and the grandmothers hair but did not have the time to dedicate to it. Make up was ok for them - not great. And when I mentioned these things to the manager, all I got was the lip service "Im so sorry." A slight discount, instead of charging for an updo for my daughter, they charged me for a blow out - big deal. I was so disappointed. The bill for my daughter and I was $300. It was worth all of $150 if that. Do not go there. The manager will only smile and say "shes sorry."

I had a hair appointment here and my stylist was Tiki. I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received on my visit. I had recently gotten my hair highlighted (also at About Faces Canton) and I love the color work that was done. A few days later I noticed that my hair wasnt retaining moisture the way it used to, and my normal products were not helping. Tiki gave me the inside scoop on what I could do to better take care of my hair, telling me everything from new products to use, to techniques to get my hair to hold its style longer. I just went in for a cut and style, but immediately saw the difference as soon as she was done. And, just a couple days later, still using the products and techniques she recommended, my hair is looking healthy and "moist" as ever. Additionally, just walking into About Faces Canton you are instantly greeted with a smile and immediately feel relaxed with every step of the way. I highly recommend them for the next time you want to take some "me time" and pamper yourself.
