If this review sounds chatty, its because I wrote it first for all my best friends before I put it here. I live in Woodbridge, VA, so when I say Baltimore I mean I drove two hours+ to get to Advanced Security Safe and Lock and every second was worth it. As long as I am remotely in the vicinity I will be using only these guys for the rest of my life. Einstein Cuts Keyes Bought my Audi TT used with only one key. High security type. I thought it was a valet key, but Audi told me they didnt make a valet key: someone lost the ignition key for mine and had the ignition and doors rekeyed. So I couldnt lock the glove. Much worse: theres also a keyed switch in the glove box that disarms the passenger airbag so you can use a carseat. Off when I bought it. I needed it on to pass VA state inspection. It matches the glove key. Audi of Chantilly wouldnt even quote me a price for rekeying though I kept asking. Most locksmiths didnt want to hear about it, or were quoting $500+ range. I was broke from buying my car. Found Advanced Security up in Baltimore. They said yeah they were pretty sure they could handle it for $250 range probably. One of their guys poked it with basically a tiny Allen wrench. Then he brought several keys out of the shop and tried them all in the lock, sometimes with a bobby pin (note: I /think/--I was trying not to look over his shoulder too bad). Then he brought my ignition key into his shop. When he came out, he had one high security key that worked ignition, glove, airbag. It was like he copied two different keys into only one key….except, he didnt even have the two keys to start with. Charged me $110. Mojo!

AWESOME SERVICE!!! RELIABLE!!! KNOWLEDGEABLE!!! SUPER!!!TERRIFIC!!! I work at The Estates @ Pikesville a gate access community. That uses call box door entry system, that like all systems we have issues. My manager called Advanced Security because the previous service company could not resolve the issue. Or they only wanted to continue to charge us for service calls and not do anything, except put it on Verizon. After several visits from Verizon and the other company (name begins with a Crest...., station in Dundalk, MD), Malcolm (ASS Tech) came out and we explain what was going on. He immediately went to the building with the issue and within 20 minutes, called with an idea of what the problem was. He located cross wires. That neither Verizon nor Crest Lock found. He properly tagged the lines and we called Verizon to come and re-wire the lines. SERVICE: Malcolm made it his business to return while Verizon was here to assist and make sure that the correct line were being corrected. RELIABLE: Malcolm discovered that the other issue, had a incorrect phone number. Once again Verizon and Crest Lock have been out here and neither of them were able to tells us what the problem was-why our resident was unable to receive calls. *****Malcolm is awesome!!! He cares and is not out to just tell you what you want to hear. He finds the problem and gives a solution. So, if you want reliable, expert, service. Please call Advanced Security Safe & Lock. I was burglarized,was afraid and didnt have any idea what to do after i saw the guy driving off with my car ,after police came and i got home they luckily found my car after two days but nothing in it and no keys. I called Advanced Security Safe and Luck as my friend referred me to them after they replicate a car key for him The guy came to my Toyota Sienna and re-key my car and reprogrammed my key in order that the old key will be useless. I thought this story is behind me but after a week we came to the house and my door was broken in.. it seems like the guy used the house key to open the bottom and when the lock on top had a diff key he decided to kick the door to brake in All frustrated and with a scared wife i called Advance again and the same day even though it was close to 8pm they send a technician that replace all the door keys and reinforced my door for the night and made us feel protected again after they ordered a brand new door and installed it for me the job was nicely done they even put security storm door and calmed us down from the crazy day we had so thank you for coming fast and even at late time we really appreciate it!!! it was worth every penny. Im now working with them on alarm system including two cameras for my front and back door ...wait for pictures

Having read the wonderful reviews, I have to wonder if these are genuine or friends of the owner. I lost my original remote and key for my vehicle and was able to purchase a new remote and have it programmed the same day. I was told that I would have to come back another day to have a key made for my vehicle because it would take an hour, and I did not want a copy of the valet key. However when I returned a copy was made of my valet key and when I tried to explain what I was told by the attendant, the owner and another attendant were both rude and obnoxious. If I needed just a copy why was I told that I had to return and wait an hour. Why wasnt a copy made that same evening. Obviously his attendant needs to be updated. I was made to seem like a liar or as if I did not understand what I was told. The owner is very nice obviously if you agree with him but you are not allowed to question his opinion. The first attendant was never called to the front to verify what I was saying even though he was in the back office. As a business owner, he was very disrespectful and rude. He knows that he is offering a service that is in demand and so he no longer cares about customer service. I regret having to click a star in order to post this comment.

I went in to Advanced security to have an electronic key fixed. I was advised honestly, treated fairly and met with the most courteous customer service. I dont know if they men in the shop are related, but they treated each other, me and the other customers in the shop, with a level of respect you know is not feigned, and is entrenched in tradition, and honor - what you see in traditional families - It was a pleasure to do business with them . I stopped by Advanced Security first, then shopped around a bit and ended up coming BACK to the Advanced Security - and I will again. The service was great and the price was unbeatable. Jimmy and "Mr. Jack" were very helpful, honest, polite. All were honorable businessmen. They seem to all follow in the footsteps of the older gentleman in the shop (I dont remember his name). I appreciated the courtesy, honesty and respect with which I was treated as well as their assistance as much as they made me feel they appreciated my patronage. Well done, gentlemen... well done!
