A year ago I a salesman from HS technologies came to my home offering a great package on their home security monitoring service. He stated that they would give me 3 months free service, then I would pay for the 4th month, and then they would deposit $500 dollars into my CFL (customer for life) account that I could then draw from to cover my monthly service fee (thus giving me an additional 10 months free) When I called to make my payment on the 4th month, I told the customer service representative that I wanted to use the CFL account at which time she informed me that there was no $500.00 in that account and that even if there were you are not allowed to draw from it until the start of your 3rd year of service. I immediately stated that I would like to cancel my account, however I was told that the 30 day trial period was over and that I was under contract for the next 5 years. Additionally, due to a wiring issue in my home, the outlet that provides the main monitoring board stopped working and it wasnt until 2 months later that I realized there had been no power to the security system and they had not made ANY attempt to contact me. I would think that a home security monitoring service would at least make a phone call or send the police to your home if there was no power to their system. I have spoken with them on several different occasions and always was told the same thing... "sorry that the salesman misrepresented the situation, but he is no longer with the company. Moving forward, we can promise that we will not mislead you again..." and then they mention again that I am under a 5 year contract. I tell anyone who will listen to stay far away from them. I would rather pay double the monthly service fee to ADT or one of their competitors. They have wasted more time and energy (all the while not providing me with service) but they make sure that they continue getting paid.

Our experience with HS Technology has been super. Our initial contact was with Paul. He came to our home and was punctual and very courteous, no high pressure at all. He answered all of our questions except one, but told us he would get us the answer when he followed up. He really knew his product. He did an excellent job evaluating our specific needs. Juan was the technician that installed the equipment, he was great as well, he even wore little booties as to not mark up our floor. Before he left, he explained how the system works and tested the system with the central station. We have been very pleased with the entire process. We hope to stay with HST for as long as we are in our home, and hopefully if we move, they agreed to move our system to our next home, as part of our package, great deal!

We were referred to HST from our next door neighbor. I liked the fact that everyone is very personable. They answered the phone, no voice mail and I was transferred to Morgan to help me. She was very patient and listening to what we were looking for. She said it would be best to have a consultant stop out and look at what we were thinking. Barry was great. We had a complete upgrade to our existing system, got the latest email alerts and an app on our phone. We can control our thermostats and door locks and are thinking about some other features, especially the indoor cameras. All in all, they were a pleasure to deal with. We did have one issue with a faulty sensor, but they were back the next day to change it out, they said it sometime happens. Id be happy to recommend them to anyone we know. GT

I normally dont take the time to ever write reviews but felt like this was the least I could. HS Technology Group installed a surveillance system for my company and I couldnt be more satisfied with their work. When Mark Recene visited my office he carefully explained the different types of systems on the market. After looking at our building and finding out more about my business he showed me a system he thought would be right for us. We started out with six cameras and just added two more. I can watch the cameras on my mobile phone or computers any time from anywhere. Their technicians Charlie and Dave were very friendly and took their time explaining how everything works.
