I was not impressed with this funeral home at all. My family chose this funeral home due to an unfortunate untimely death. No insurance was available and everything had to be paid out of pocket. The mortician that worked with us was absolutely horrible. She showed neither sympathy or empathy. It was just a job. I completely understand that this is what you do however the family members deserve to be treated better. She was not available during my family members wake or funeral (I dont even think she was in the building for the funeral). We chose cremation for the final preparation of my family member and they didnt even contact me to let me know that the remains was available. I had to contact them. As far as the presentation of the body... they did an absolutely wonderful job. And the funeral home and nice and clean and the service was great. What makes this place bad is the communication of the staff. If I had my choice this would not be a funeral home that I would use again.

I would Not Recommend this Funeral Home. the Mortician that took care of my love one was a great person. But there communication in the facility is not great, my love one sat on the floor all day long with out any family members or friends being notified. My services was change and didnt even have any acknowledge of it. So family and friends who planned to attend could not. The service was rushed. And the pastor was told not to read the obituary as well as sing a song he had written and planned to sing. I had to contact the funeral home for them to send a car to pick us up for the services the day of the funeral. I was told on the phone or asked your not driving yourselves. And when leaving the funeral there was people waiting in the hallway to come into the chapel I was assigned to waiting for the next service.

Customer service was not the best. My appointment was at 2:30 I waited two hours to been seen. I asked to pickup my Dad cremains on Friday after 4PM for services on Saturday. On Friday my brother gets to Browns to find out the Urns we ordered were not shipped by the vendor. No call prior to arrival to advise, again after waiting for about 1/2 hour he was told the Urns did not come in. After a few phone calls by myself to Browns resolution was made. I feel the communication skills could be better.

I had to take care of my mothers planning and estate long distance, since I live in North Carolina and my mom lived in Pikesville, MD. Although the staff was very friendly when I met with them face to face, the lack of long distance communication was very frustrating for me. Phone calls were not returned and I was not kept up to date on the status of her estate, which I asked them to handle. Nice facility, but I would not recommend this funeral home for long distance arrangements.

Ghetto mess, they all need lessons on how to talk to grieving familys. And the little guy, what is he even there for? He seems to not know anything.. constantly redirecting questions to everyone else? Why is he there? He a terrible decoration for the desk lol. I did not choose this place from past atrocities. My mom did. Beware. I know its a business but do you have to make it so apparent you only care about money.

Was trying to get information for a service and it was like pulling a tooth. The young lady made me feel like she didnt want to do it. She had a very pleasant voice but she didnt offer any helpful information after I told her I wasnt familiar with a cremation service. She made me feel like I was bothering her or wasting her time. I had to ask her each question. She didnt offer any explanations herself.

I would not recommend this funeral home, they are unprofessional, the staff at the front desk needs to take classes on how to communicate and relate to people who are coming through the door for services. If you want a ghetto mess...this is the place.
