Last month my mother was receiving Hospice care and I painfully had to make a decision to make arrangement for her impending death. Hospice was quick to recommend Gladfelters. My sister and I made an appt to meet with Lucy. We were immediately greeted with warmth and understanding. We actually spent a lot of the time just chatting with Lucy about growing up in the south, our childhood etc. It was refreshing to talk a funeral home with the director being pushy or trying to sell me what I knew I did want or need. Lucy was very knowledgeable and helpful. She made it so easy and my sister and I walked away feeling relief knowing that we found the right place. When Mom passed away Lucy and all her team was wonderful. Losing a loved one is stressful and devastating to the family but Lucy assured us that they would take care of everything....and they did. Moms services was beautiful and just what Mom would have wanted. I can not thank Lucy, Scott and everyone at Gladfelters for making an extremely emotional, trying time in our lives go so smoothly. I would recommend Gladfelters if you dont want all the sales pitches and want compassion and understanding.

Lucy is the best !! Loving n caring .. She took excellent care of my beloved Husband... Her staff is professional and caring as well. The Funeral Home Parler is Beautiful
