I have hardly written any reviews, good or bad, but this one I have to write: Very affordable, but you get what you pay for. Been going there on a weekly basis with 5-8 pieces each time since over a month ago. Services were good in the beginning, but then my husband found a pair of pants weirdly pressed on the sides (not even along the seam!) and between the legs. He was on a business trip and needed the pants the next day, so he had to pay $20+ to have them properly pressed using the express service from the hotel. I took pictures, brought them back to Sanitate, and they got defensive. Then we found rust stains on the collar of a shirt and staplers stapled on pants (rather than on the tag). No apologies whatsoever throughout all these from Sanitate. The owner said she does not have control over the lady working there (who presumably did the poor stapling job), and she does not care if I go try someone else. Guess what?

I have used them several times for alterations and the lady there is very good at what she does. She is also super friendly as well. One time she even took $$$ off the price she originally quoted me when I came to pick up my dress because she said the alteration wasnt as complicated to do as she originally thought it would be....she didnt have to tell me anything and could have still charged me the full price. I thought that was very nice and honest of her. I would definitely recommend this place for great, reliable, punctual service.

They do a great job every time and are one of the few places Ive been to that actually take responsibility for any damaged buttons. They havent actually damaged any yet, but I had to leave my last dry cleaner (Super Landromat at 3113 St. Paul) because they were damaging so many buttons and then making me pay for repairs. I highly recommend Sanitate.

Our neighborhood cleaners! Sanitate is a great dry cleaners. They have reasonable prices, and they have helped me out of a pickle more than once (needing a suit cleaned and pressed for an event the next day). The location is great for anyone living in Hampden (just down Chestnut from the Charmery) and I recommend them highly!

Good neighborhood cleaners. Not cheap but they treat clothes well. Cant always get tough stains out of clothing.
