Immediately following my cut and “ombre” color, I was very happy; but that night after my shower I noticed my hair was very dry and the dead ends had not been trimmed. The following day I noticed in many spots the color had turned VERY green. I called Cheveux and schedule an appointment for the next day. After another shower that night, my ends were even more dry and brittle. When I got to Cheveux I was informed that chlorine can turn light colors green. So can well water. Since I have well water I would have to buy their special treatment, their special shampoo, and their special conditioner. When I asked further questions, the staff was condescending and snippy. I’ve never, ever walked out of a business before. But what I heard was: “in order to use this salons hair dye, you will have to spend an additional $50 or so dollars for the colors to look nice.” Some important notes: This is the first bad review I have given a business. Typically, if I do not like something, I simply do not return/purchase/personally recommend that product or service if asked by something I know. I have very dark hair, and I’ve had it bleached and dyed before. It remained very soft and healthy. Although I have never had blond before, I know plenty of dyed-blondes that have well water that do not have to buy special treatment, shampoo and conditioner for their hair to not to turn green after one shower. I think I will go to their salon next time.

Not so great. I had my hair glossed multiple times throughout the years. My hairstylists always used Redken products. This place used Wella instead, which I was fine with trying. Sunghee (Im sorry, if I didnt spell it right) left the product in my hair for not even 10 minutes and washed it off. Obviously, the result was less than impressive. I told that to my friend whos been a hairdresser for 10+ years, and owns 2 spas in VA. She explained to me that the product needs to be left on for 25-30 minutes to get the desired results. Ok, not a big deal, right? Thats what I thought too. So I came back. Made an appointment with a different hairstylist for a haircut. The girl asked me, if Ive ever been to this place before and some other questions. We were having a casual conversation, and I told her that I had my hair glossed here before but I didnt like the result & that I didnt think that it was done right. The owner of the place was walking by when I said that, and started almost yelling at me saying that there was probably something wrong with the texture of my hair, and not the fact that the product was left in 1/3 of the time it needed to work properly. No need to say that it was the last time ever that Ive visited that place.

Cheveux Salon is my one-stop- shop for all of my beauty needs. Not only do they offer fair prices for just about every service out there, but the staff is friendly, accommodating, and most certainly talented! The ladies at Cheveux always do an amazing job and I feel like Im visiting friends every time that I go! Ive had my hair done, pedicures, manicures, facials, and a few other services at Cheveux and Ive been pleased every time! I highly recommend Cheveux Salon to anyone looking for high quality service in a high quality, friendly atmosphere.

The salon is very nice, clean and very organized. The salon employees are great and always looking to help you. They work well as a team. I had been going to the same salon for 18 years. When I moved to Bel Air, I asked a new friend in the area where she had her hair cut & colored (as we both have curly hair). She recommended Cheveaux. I made my 1st appointment & Ive never been happier. I believe my hair looks better than it has in 18 years!

I just had the worst pedicure i have ever gotten. The online description of a spa pedicure was not what i received... and at $45 i did not get what i paid for. The staff member was super sweet but was not experienced with pedicures and unfortunately it shows...

As usual Linda did a great job on my hair cut and set. I always feel uplifted when I leave their salon. The girls are friendly and helpful. Always in a good mood, and make you feel at home. I enjoy my visits to Cheveux, its always fun and cheerful.
