My husband and I will be canceling our membership after not getting any response from owner or an apology from manager Steve Campbell. I have been a member of Planet Fitness for 2 years this January and have always had a great experience with everyone at front desk and staff until I met manager Steve Campbell. I have been in customer service as a National Sales Director for 21 years and know this is not how a customer should be treated. My entire family (20 of them) were visiting for the week from Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida and Seattle and were ready to work out with us and they were absolutely amazed at what happened at Planet Fitness with Steve Campbell. 6 of my family members were ready to pay with $20 and did not stay due to his rudeness. They would never consider joining a Planet Fitness after this experience. I was so embarrassed and assured them that I always had great experiences up until then. I will be sure to let all my friends in Forest Hill and Bel Air hear about this experience. Previous review: Very poor experience with manager, Steve Campbell this am at planet fitness. The worst customer service. Rude and confrontational. What he does not realize is that everyone knows 500 people. The worst! Needs a lesson in customer service. There is a certain way to approach members about the rules and he clearly did not care to maintain our business.

Ive been to not just one but 3 PF centers. Specifically, Edgewood, Forest Hill and Golden Ring. Edgewood has great equipment and space. They dont have Total Body Enhancement machines though. The hydro massage and chairs are in a calm environment. Love it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Forest hill doesnt have the equipment that Edgewood has in the abdominal section. They do have space and the TBE machine, plus others. The space for the hydro massage was calming. Staff is friendly and helpful. Golden Ring is crowded. It really needs to be bigger to include more machines, quieter spaces for the relaxation area for the amount of people it serves. Even the TVs are fewer on the walls. They have limited ab equipment and bikes. The relaxation space isnt relaxing. Its noisy and right against the front wall of the business. Not as relaxing as you want it to be. They do have TBE machines. Staff is friendly and helpful. Really PF, either expand this or open another one. In general, I am pleased with PF. Great bang for the buck. You even get a free trainer to consult with! I would recommend this place. More locations are needed.

Visiting my sister from Georgia and she has a membership with Planet Fitness in Forest Hill. We went in to work out and had the worst experience with manager Steve Campbell ( not sure about the spelling) so rude to all of us. My nephew was with us and he said he had to have his birth certificate to work out. He is 14. Who has their birth certificate with them????? I understand there is rules and policies to be followed but there is a big difference how it should be delivered. Steve was extremely inconsiderate. We had money ready to pay for the guest passes. He was so rude and unprofessional. I would never consider joining planet fitness after this experience.

One thing is for sure its affordable for me and my wife its close to home as well. Facility always looks great and clean always have availability of one of the equipments we like to use. So you need to be a little flexible if you dont want it is normally doing the treadmill and maybe something else sometimes you have to work at vice versa but thats normally not a problem for us. The staff is definitely always friendly and always very helpful if you need anything or have any questions.

l tell all who listen how awesome PF is....you cannot beat the price, they are forever giving aways incentives, food, Fitbits, tshirts, candy, bagels pizza, etc, The staff is always accommodating and super friendly! Plus you get to have a firmer body if you come at least three times a week! The trainers are helpful with correcting poor form, and we engage in conversations while we work out so before you know it, a 30 minute class is up!

Great place to workout. I am an avid triathlete and the equipment and time availability having given me the opportunity to train for and become a member of Team USA to represent the USA in the Long Course World Championships to be held in Penticon, BC in 2017. The atmosphere is very conducive to total focus on your training and the staff is outstanding. I highly recommend this facility for the serious triathlete.

The staff and the gym and locker room are normally pretty clean, the only comment I have an a negative point is that the Internet is no good cannot log on. I have talk to the manager and he told me if only one person is complaining about it hes not going to do any I dont feel that its right that I have to use my data Is anyone else having problems with the Internet or is it just me

Ive been a member of the Forest Hill Planet Fitness since they opened almost 5 years ago. I honestly cant say a bad thing about this gym! Its always clean and well kept. The staff is wonderful too! Its a great place to get a good workout without any waiting for machines. The same goes for tanning, red light or massage beds.

Staff are very nice, the place is always clean and the people are friendly. You can get a very good workout over hear. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it does not have a free weight squat rack or bench press. You can do squats or bench on the smith machine, which is safer, but the motion feels unnatural.

The fact that you have to go in store to cancel a membership even if you no longer live in that state is ridiculous. Oh but your other option is to write a letter and mail it in... lets get real, get with the times. Its called customer service lines or an online request would work too.

Its kept very clean, the staff is friendly and you cant beat the price. My only real complaint is that the selection of free-weights is awful. Dumbbells only go up to 60 lbs and, even worse, barbells only go to 60 lbs outside of a smith machine.

Fur everyone regardless of their found goal. Exercising because of deterioration of my knee rather that for strength and weight control. Still, a great place! Staff and other members courteous, kind and its a safe place to exercise.

Great, clean gym. They will enforce the rules, such as bringing in identification in order to gain entry, as well as other security measures. But most of us understand the reasons for that. Front Desk staff are very nice.

I love the Planet Fitness on Rock Spring Road. The person at the desk is always pleasant and has a smile on her face (even at 4:30 a.m.!). I never have any trouble getting on equipment and everyone is very friendly.

Planet fitness presents a great business model by offering month to month, bring a friend for 3 bucks. Good machines, good gym for cardio. Not many amenities but expected with such competitive price points.
