My husband bought me a Groupon for a Keratin treatment at this salon. I have had plenty of Keratin treatments in the past with much success and was excited to get another one for a discounted price (the Groupon was $150 for a Keratin treatment, it lists the original price as $250). I want to start off by saying that my stylist, Erin, was super sweet and personable and I only second guess giving this salon such a horrible review due to her interpersonal skills. I was disappointed with the results of my keratin treatment. Not only did the treatment not work well, but my hair looks worse than it did when I walked into the salon. The treatment gave my hair unmanageable kinks. I get keratin treatments on my hair to make my hair more manageable, but the treatment I got at Kaye Edwards gave me the opposite result. As much I was extremely disappointed with the results, I figured I would give the salon the benefit of the doubt and contact the manager (Heather) to tell her about my dissatisfaction. I e-mailed AND called and received no response. After reading a few google reviews, it seems as though Heather has minimal customer service skills. I will not be returning to Kaye Edwards salon, nor would I recommend this business to others.

I have been a stylist for over 30 years. Ive worked at several different locations over the years and I have to say, that with each salon experience, Ive been given the opportunity to learn and grow. Its a privilege in life to meet all sorts of different personalities. What I find a shame, is that people dont take these circumstances, whether they they be good or bad, and use them for their own personal benefit. Instead, they use the cowardly method of publicly slandering other peoples names and reputations as a way of displaying their opinions. I find this behavior immature and irresponsible as a member of society. A little self control and respect for others would exhibit a much nicer example of who you are as an individual. Those who have nothing but horrible things to say about others only make themselves look week and silly. I dont know those who gave the bad reviews, nor do I know any of the stylists or owner of the Kay Edwards salon, but Id have to say if I were a new client reading these reviews, I wouldnt even think to consider the gossip as noteworthy. Id most certainly give the stylists of this salon the chance to prove themselves as professionals before forming any kind of an opinion at all.

Kaye Edwards is hands-down the finest salon in Harford County. Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere, professional, talented and friendly staff- this place has it all. This is the first salon Ive really been committed to. Generally, I would go to any salon and because of that, I think Ive tried everything in the Baltimore area. After trying Kaye Edwards, I knew this would be the only place where I would ever go for my hair ever again. The staff really listens to what you want and they deliver results that make you look like you walked out of a fashion magazine. I always recommend it to my friends and they all love it too. I usually see Heather or Lauren for my hair, but everyone there does such a great job that it really doesnt matter who you see. Kaye Edwards only hires the best. Also, be sure to try one of their facials, Maggie is the greatest at facials and waxing services. I highly recommend this place. No salon in the area comes close to the quality of service youll receive at Kaye Edwards.

The bad reviews are obviously from a salon whose business has suffered because of the quality and service at Kaye Edwards. Please dont listen to any of the bad ones! No one is on drugs and Justin (shampoo) gives and awesome massage while shampooing! The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing (like a bar? really???). The front desk is very friendly. Chelsea does a great job coloring and cutting my difficult hair and had made excellent product recommendations. It look many years to find someone that I was comfortable enough with to continue to go back. Ive never had a massage there but a friend had a gift card and got one and said it was wonderful. I hope to be coming back for many years.

Kaye Edwards Salon and Spa is one of the nicest salons in Harford County. The salon is immaculate, the stylists are professional. Its a joy to go in to be pampered, and be treated so well. Heather and her team are the best, and they are all so friendly! I recently had a chance to have a facial with Stephanie, and it was a special treat. Shes very talented. I was getting my hair done at the same time that several young ladies were getting up-dos for their prom, and they all looked awesome. Becky does a great up-do. Please take the time to visit, I promise, you will love the experience.

I absolutely love this salon and followed some of the staff from Domani Studio, where I used to get my hair done. I really enjoy coming here, and find it very strange that most of the bad reviews were written by people who then rated Domani as excellent. Coincidence.. I think not! Kaye Edwards is gorgeous inside and always clean with a welcoming and inviting staff. Everyone here is very friendly and professional. I wish their competition would stop trying to sabotage them.

I went to Kaye Edwards Salon for the first time a few weeks ago and will be going back again. Kirsten listened to what I wanted and then made some great suggestions. Needless to say, I left extremely pleased. The staff was very courteous and I have recommended them to all my friends. Definite two-thumbs-up!

Kaye Edwards Salon and Spa is a beautiful salon! Heather, the owner, did a great job designing it. Chelsea does a fantastic job on my hair! Im very picky about where I get my pedicures and this is my favorite place! I highly recommend it!

I have never had a bad experience at Salon 1401. I have been a customer since it was Kay Edwards. The staff is friendly and very informative . Becky is my hair stylist but all the staff is professional. I would highly recommend this salon.

I came to this salon for a keratin treatment that turned out bad. I called the owner Heather and never heard back. The staff was friendly but the service was poor. I will not be returning.
