MAYBE THIS IS WHY THEY NEED GROUPONS TO HELP BRING THEIR BUSINESS! STAY AWAY!! THE STYLISTS GET LAZY AND DONT TAKE CARE OF THEIR LOYAL CLIENTS WHEN THEY MESS UP!! I went to Salon 8736 for six years. I was always more than pleased with the work that was done there and refused to go anywhere else. However, the last time i went there, my regular stylist told me she thought doing an all-over bleach out on my hair would give me the same results I wanted as doing a full-color with foils. Since I had only ever gone to that salon for color (and to her for at least a year) she should have known the history of my hair. The first time she did it, my hair was brittle and dry but was fine. I went in again two months later to get my roots done (as I had always done) and she decided to bleach it out again! MORE THAN AN ENTIRE TOP LAYER OF MY HAIR BROKE OFF FROM THE SEVERITY OF THE CHEMICALS SHE WAS USING!!!!!!! Being a "professional" she should have known the nature and health of my hair and what putting those chemicals on it would have done! Instead, she was being lazy and trying to take up less time in order to open her book. When I saw what she had done, I IMMEDIATELY STARTED CRYING. Her response was to blame it on me! Saying "well it cant be all from me. You must be putting extra heat on it" I have natrually straight hair! I dont need to straighten it! I dont ever curl it! And a hair dryer would not have done that! They did not comp my bill, nor did I ever hear from them again. No more post cards, no more coupons, no more "hey come see us" mail any more. Not even a single sorry from the stylist or the owner or anyone. All of this caused me to have to dye my hair brown because no other hair stylist wanted to chance putting any chemicals on it. They were going to make me sign a waiver! I have never been a brunette in my life and never wanted to. Also, its a year later and I still cant put all of my hair in a pony tail yet. They lost one of their most loyal customers. They lost one of their biggest advocates. I will never step foot in there again and neither will my friends or family.

I visited Salon 8736 on Saturday Oct 31 and I absolutely love it. I had an appointment with Megan and she was absolutely amazing. I hesitated for months on getting my hair done because most salons as soon as you step through the door tend to come off in a high maintenance manner. Acting as though they have a better then you air about them, NOT THIS ONE. Everyone was very kind and understanding. Megan brought me back to get started and listened to every word I said about getting my hair done, the color and the cut. She went over everything with me from start to finish. She processed my color and then went to cutting. She blow dried my hair and had me look at it and it wasnt as short as I had wanted, so I asked if she would mind cutting it a bit more and without hesitation went about it. The color and cut of my hair as absolutely perfect. It is without a doubt exactly what I wanted. I have never been happier with my hair. Its easy to style and maintain. Thank you so much Megan for your time and patience, YOU ARE AMAZING!

I went to 8736 salon as I had a groupon for a color and a cut. I chose Nichole after reading the bios of stylists. It was a great experience all around. The receptionist was warm and welcoming over the phone, as I made my appointment with Nichole. Nichole listened to me, and put me at ease, as she began to give me options. She was thorough, and so gentle with my hair as well as the shampoo girl (I have a tender scalp, and lot of hair). Nichole did such a great job that my hair felt so soft and supplied after she finished with me. Another perk, they have the best coffee in town :-) I recommend her to anybody who is looking for a great color and conditioning of hair even in one visit. Thank You Nichole!

I had my nails done there yesterday, Natalie cut 5 out of 10 of my fingers! She didnt apologize and even tried to rush through my appointment. The next day one of the nails she cut is INFECTED! I go back and show them the pus and was told that unless I have a DOCTORS NOTE they cant do anything about it. Seriously, your license should be pulled. Manicures shouldnt end with more blood on your fingers then nail polish. NEVER GO THERE, unless you like having infected cuts and poor, rushed service.

I took my 4 year old for her first haircut yesterday. We were fit into the schedule on very short notice to match up with my sisters appointment. Shannon did a wonderful job and my daughters hair look great. She loves it and I do too! Everyone made her feel comfortable and welcome. Shannon took her time cutting and layering her hair, put some tinsel in her hair and I spent only $15! I would have paid double for how smoothly our first haircut experience went! Thanks for such a great day!

This is the best haircut Ive had in over 2 years. Ive been searching for a place in Baltimore to match the cut I got in Atlanta years ago and this is the place. The stylists were all very friendly and professional. There was no bickering or competition at this place, several had input on the best technique for coloring my hair. My stylist was Brittany and she was finished cutting my pretty quickly, which I appreciate since I sit still as well as your average 7 year old.

Stylist Raphael impresses and amazes me on a regular basis with his stunning and always evolving work. Whenever Raphael cuts, colors, and styles my hair I always know the results will be exceptional. I now travel over 3,500 miles just to get my hair done by him. His work surpasses top salons I have been too in NYC, Toronto, and Maryland. Raphael can take any head of hair and produce something beautiful, appropriate, and unique.

I had a very positive experience with this salon, probably the best Ive had in awhile! I had never been before and I saw Shannon for a hair color. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and did an AMAZING job. I got exactly what I wanted if not a better version of what I went in for. I will be going back again when my roots grow out!
