Worst haircut of my life. Hair cut was so bad that I had to go to another salon spa to get it repaired. I had a wedding to attend and my hair looked so bad that I couldnt even go- Im not exaggerating or over reacting. It was BAD and unable to be styled. When I asked Kee Kee to repair the hairstyle she only sprayed a bunch of hairspray on it, scrunched it up and then refused to cut it properly and didnt offer my money back. In the beginning I gave kee kee the benefit of doubt since everyone has a bad day.. But, for weeks my hair looked horrible no matter what I did. The stylist at the other spa showed me just how bad the haircut was and asked if I had gone to one of those cut and curl places. It was truly worse than I had imagined- even to the point of not being cut the same length on each side by over an inch. If you want an excellent and professional hair cut, go to Shear Style Salon and Spa in Yorktown. They take the time to listen and they are true technical hair artists. I agree with one of the other reviewers who stated about kee kee, She always has something new in mind for me every two weeks"....yep, she sure does. But, its more than likely not going to be what you were expecting. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!

Asked specifically for NO layers wanted a blunt cut with a inch or two off the bottom. The stylist cut off about 5-6 inches of my hair...depending on which way you look at it because she layered it all over and even took the scissors and began to thin it out clipping into my hair taking out huge chunks! It was a nightmare and I was too stunned to even stop her. I had the distinct feeling she was doing it to me on purpose because she knew it was not what I wanted...I had even showed her a picture. I spent the last two years growing and cutting the layers out of the last haircut I had and now I have to start all over. At least I can say I finally learned my lesson. Its convenient and easy to think what you want is simple and nothing bad could happen but if you care about your hairstyle...dont do it! I dont think I will even so much as take my children here anymore for a trim. Haircuttery down the road has some really nice stylists - go there!

I should have known better than to go to a place like this. I went there yesterday and today I am going somewhere else to get my hair fixed. All I asked for was a trim. I dont have layers, my hair is one length. Or at least it was. Now its completely uneven. If you look at the back of my head, my hair is all sorts of lengths. I have no idea how my hairstylist was hired. I thought what I wanted was too easy to mess up. Places like this are hit and miss. The first lady I had when I went there was fine. But Ive been to Supercuts a few times other than that and they all have misses. Id rather not gamble anymore. If you found a good hairstylist there, stick with her. Do not try anyone else. Just because theres one good hairstylist there does not mean all the others are.

I would give this Super Cuts establishment 5 stars if all the stylist knew what they were doing. I had actually talked with one of the stylist about their training. She mentioned super cuts does a training every so often and there is a certain technique they use to cut hair. She also mentioned that she does not follow the technique and does it her own way. I dont really care how she cuts it, but I just want it to look good. Well she ruined my hair so I just buzzed it all off a week later. Not all stylists here are the same. Some of them are great and some shouldnt be working. From now on I try to make an appointment with those I know who can cut hair.

The stylist I had was almost too eager to cut my hair and I should have seen this as a warning. I asked for layers and she chopped my hair up to the point where it looked like chunks were just cut out of my hair. I had to go back to another stylist there to fix it. She tried her hardest but the first stylist ruined my long hair too much and now I have to get it cut extra short to fix her mess. Im terribly upset with my haircut and now have to wear a pony tail until it grows out.

I have had a haircut at many places on the peninsula and found this shop to have some of the best stylists. I enjoy this place and have only had good experiences. It is important to know the style you want and go back to the same stylist once you find one you like. This makes cutting your hair much easier for the stylist over time. And, you end up happier and tip better. Its a win-win.
