I would like to express my unsatisfaction in regard of the latest service that i have received at your Hampton branch. I requested to receive a light trim cut and color lighten of my hair. The junior stylist felt very uncomfortable to even begin as she was very confused on how to use diverse hair coloring product, the stylist then made her first attempt in lighten my hair, then 45 min later she witnessed the fact that my hair where multicolor and diverse shades. She then attempted to fix various colors, by lighten it one more time utilizing a bleach base substitute. After leaving my hair sit on it for another 45 min, while she rinsed my hair, she was able to manage soaking the back of my shirt all the way through a half of my back, not mentioning that it was a temperature below freezing outside ! Anyway, after rinsing my hair now she was able to some what get 1 even color across all my hair, but far away from what i wanted. Finally she began to slightly trimmed my hair, making one side longer then the other,and after a hole 5 min of trimming she asked me if i would like to use further product in my hair, as Gel , so she flatten my hair with a generous amount of gel. The result of my latest experience at the Hampton Branch Avea salon, is the fact that i own an unattractive hair style and was able to walk to my vehicle with a soaken shirt while freezing, and paid 50 dollars for this particular service, and need to find time in my schedule to fix this particular hair style. I would appreciate your feedback and recommendation, because i was enjoying coming to yout salon, but after todays experience i became seriously unattracted to do so.

To begin, unless the service is terrible I dont judge my hair cut until it has grown for a week or two because growing the cut out displays how well the hair was actually cut. Moving on, I got a cut by Melissa about 2 weeks ago and she was WONDERFUL. I liked everything about her from her professionalism to her personal style. She is a junior stylist but has been cutting hair for 8 years. She took her time with me and gave me perhaps the best service I have ever had. She listened to me intently and then she told me to relax and we would talk more about what I wanted after the scalp message and shampoo. She made me feel very relaxed and then right before the cut she consulted me about my hair again. I had a very disconnected hair cut from a really bad cut I got one year ago (A woman shaved the side of my head and that wasnt what I wanted). Melissa was the first person that actually fixed my hair and made it look like an actual hair cut and not a lame fix. After the cut was fixed I booked my next appointment just based on the service I received. Since then I have been very pleased with my haircut and have had many compliments on it, even from strangers. My hair is growing out wonderfully so if I need to push a haircut I wont be concerned. I am very pleased with the service and quality of the experience I had and may become a very loyal customer. Thanks AVEDA in Hampton VA!!!

I went into the salon a bit before closing on a Saturday afternoon. As I approached the 4 employees behind the counter one asked if she could help me. I handed her a perfume bottle and told her that I was looking for more perfume but I did not remember which of the scents it was. An older lady, who I assume was a manager snapped, "Were out of those bottles" I said ok and turned to leave. She called out as an after thought, "Check back next week". The hell I will, if you are too rude and busy to try to be helpful, why would I come back. I will order online or go to another shop.
