This is NOT a $72 haircut experience!! Nothing about my haircut experience, from the receptionist to the shampoo to the haircut was worth paying $72. At most maybe a $45 experience. The receptionist was not welcoming upon arrival. The shampoo was out in the open, bright lights, and the girl shampooing was not gentle and sprayed water all over my face. The haircut was just average, although a very nice stylist. The worst part of all for me was the receptionist asking me how much I wanted to tip with the stylist who cut my hair standing right beside her. There should be the option to write in the tip on the receipt. Nothing about this salon experience was upscale and upscale is was I expect when paying $72 for a haircut alone.

Unlike another business that recently opened in the same vicinity .....Hudson & Fouquet practices ethical and proper business ethics to the core. After relocating to Annapolis from Jacksonville, I was a little uneasy about finding a new stylist. I took a chance on Hudson & Fouquet Salon and couldnt be happier. Priscilla is my stylist at Hudson & Fouquet and I cannot say enough positive things about her. She is wonderful, so wonderful! Priscilla spends extra time with me, making sure my color is exactly what I want and I really appreciate that. My cut and color have never been better and my hair has never been healthier. I always leave with a smile and lots of compliments.

Nicole Cianni has been my beautician for the past several years. She is one of the few people who can tame my wild hair. She is always super friendly and never criticizes my hair or makes me feel bad. She is absolutely wonderful. I cannot attest for the other stylists there, but if they are half as awesome as Nicole, you will love them. Hudson & Fouqet is a little more pricey than other places I have found, but to me, it is totally worth the price to get a better haircut.

I have been going to this salon for six years. I have experience booking with many of the stylists, 12 or more I have had either color, cut, or blow outs. The reason I mention the number of different stylists I have experienced, is all of them are professional, they work as a team, and I know the outcome for my hair will be consistent. Hair is about personal style, but its also chemistry when it comes to color.

My first appointment was awesome, but not the second. When I went back for my next hair cut, the stylist was 30 minutes late then proceeded to give me a 15 minute hair cut while she spent the rest of my appointment talking to the other stylists. The cut was horrible and lacked style and shape. In addition to the lack of service, the cut was $80.

This was my first time at Hudson & Fouquet and I have to say it was by far one of the best salon experiences I have ever had. Bobby did a phenomenal job, I am extremely happy with my new cut and color! The staff was extremely courteous and very professional. I look forward to my next appointment!

Love this salon! I searched for several years to find the right stylist, and found Maria at the South River location. The staff is always friendly, the salon is clean, and I walk out feeling like a million bucks. It may cost more than other area salons, but its totally worth it.

I have been going to Hudson & Fouquet for 15 years, the quality hair cut is unmatched. My hair is very thick and I have found Matt Hudson knows just how to cut it, I travel a good distance but it is SO worth it!

H & F is the best upscale salon in town. Fern is the best--she understands my crazy curly hair and gives me the prettiest and current styles. The receptionists are welcoming. Thank you!

The service is uneven. Matt and Luc are top rate, but would be careful with who you get. Overall, pretty good for Annapolis.
