This school provides low-quality daycare services. My son attended this school in 2008 when he was 2 yrs old and the teachers were great. I decided to put him in a school which was more academically inclined when he turned 3. I decided to send him to W.V.C.C. for Summer Camp 2010. The first week he did well. When the primary teacher returned from maternity leave, she had problems with my son from day one. Literally, she would call either my husband or myself to complain that she could not manage my son. It was so bad that I DECIDED to have my son evaluated by a clinical psychologist only for her to rule that he was a normal 3 yr old child. My son is very active and doesnt have issues in any other social setting. I expressed to the Director of WVCC that I thought there was an issue with that teacher and the way she communicated with my son. We came up with several strategies that were to be implemented to help the teacher to relate to my son. The teacher implemented the strategies for less than one week. He did well under the new strategies and when the consistency was lost, they were back at square one. We asked to see the live surveillance of his class and was never afforded that opportunity to date. That left us to believe there was something to hide. Well, last week, my husband & I both received several calls from WVCC that our son had escaped his classroom and ran out into the facilitys parking lot. To say the least, we were appalled. When my husband confronted the teacher as to why our child was not being watched, the teacher told him that she did not care about our child and it was our responsibility to control him and not hers. So much for leaving our child with a responsible and respectable adult! I ended up filing a report of Child Abuse with PG County because she gave us the impression that she let him out on purpose. The report is also on file with Child Protective Services and the Office of Child Abuse. When we tried to make arrangements to speak to the Directors in reference to the matter, they brushed us off and didnt make themselves available. They never provided any type of apology. During my childs enrollment, the Directors did not communicate well with us. They just didnt have the time! My sons class size was between 20 and 25 students. Entirely too large. My experience with this daycare has been hell to say the least. Its a wonder I still have a job. I would have been better off putting him in another school or at-home daycare because the competency level of some of the teachers at this daycare is worse than a child. The teachers just have the 90- hour credit course to back them but the passion to do the job is not there for some. The Office Administrator lacks customer service skills. She is awful in the way she speaks to the children and the parents. If you are considering this school, you may want to take your business elsewhere.

I have sent my kids to World View for the past 5 years. My three sons currently attend World View. I have 2 elementary aged children who attend the Temple Hills site for aftercare and an infant who attends the Brandywine site. My two older sons attended preschool at World View and I was extremely pleased with the curriculum. When both my boys entered kindergarten they were well ahead of their peers and I attribute that to the small class sizes and individualized attention they were able to receive. This is my first year using World View’s infant daycare and I am IN LOVE with the staff. I can come and go as I please and they regularly communicate with me regarding my son’s health issues (asthma). They really love what they do and they love my children. My children have built strong bonds with their teachers and are always happy to see everyone. I’m somewhat confused about some of the reviews I’ve seen on here because it doesn’t reflect my experience at all. This place is a business like any other however the care they provide for my children is trustworthy. If I have ever had any concerns about my children, payments, or administrative issues they have always been addressed and dealt with. I am not from this area and I have no family here to help care for my children and so I am very grateful to have World View for childcare because they have become like extended family for me. There will always be mishaps with paperwork or miscommunication with things in anything you do. What I most care about is that there are no mishaps with my children when they are in the care of someone else. I have sent my kids here year after year because I need not worry about their health or well-being when they are not in my care. These types of connections are difficult to find in daycare centers. My kids come home stimulated, educated, and most of all HAPPY.

My son has attended both World View Aftercare and World View Summer Camp for 4 years now. He is also a regular attendee of their Kids Night Out Program as well. With that being said, the center is amazingly great. My son never wants to leave or miss any opportunity to participate in whatever the day has planned (fashion shows, basketball programs, showcases, picnics, field days, six flags, etc). I think the centers as well as the administrators are also great. Any concerns that I have ever had are always addressed immediately (and believe you me, they are far and few between!). The Staff is always pleasant and hospitable. I read a few reviews that question the ages of the teachers that are at the center but since I am the mother of an active now almost 10 year old, I welcome the youthfulness of the teachers appointed. Every teacher that I have come across has been very attentive to the needs of my son from his homework to making sure he is respectful of his peers and other adults. I think that World View Christian Center is phenomenal.

I removed my child from this program because they charge extra every day the school is close and early dismissal. Withdrww over a month ago and still have received my refund since they charged after the 2 weeks notice but they will harass you over a $20. I had to call ms Kia several times and she never returned my calls but the voicemail says they will call you back before closing. The receptionist has no answer to any questions, why didnt Kia just talk to me herself. The Clinton location looks horrible and I hated it when they sent my baby there and made them take a nap! My child is too old for naps! I do not recommend this care facilities to anyone due to facilities and management. Have a blessed day.

World View has been a blessing to me and my family. All of my children have attended World View, and they are committed to ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. They start the young ones early with reading and math, as well as doing projects and public speaking. My youngest is 4, and is already reading and writing clearly. Ms. Janice is AWESOME! She knows how to handle things and draw the best out of them. The infant teachers are very nurturing.... The teachers and staff were very patient, attentive and understanding with one of my children that was diagnosed with autism. No family is perfect, but this family definitely cares about each family.
