"I needed to replace my slate roof on my townhouse and I made a phone to Kelbie Home Improvement and received a phone call back from Mike Kelbie, the owner. He came out the same day to look at my roof and provided an estimate on the spot. He was able to beat all other estimates PLUS throw in a solar fan! The job was completed in 1 day and they were great! They were extremely efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I asked if they could maybe leave a few slate tiles for me and they did! They even put them in a very neat pile on my porch :-) Kelbie Home Improvement is my go to company for all of my roofing needs. I am a Realtor and I only refer Kelbie Home Improvement (Mike Kelbie) to all of my clients. I am very pleased with all of the work that he has done for me and my clients. Plus his prices are GREAT!"

I was initially impressed with Kelbie Roofing. They completed a roofing and gutter job on my town home in August 2010. In the process they damaged my screen door. I notified them and they promised to fix it. Instead, they replaced my brand new white Pella door with a generic black one. I called again and asked that the original door be repaired and returned. The door was returned dented and scratched and the screen was not properly attached. There were large sections of screen that were not attached to the frame. What should have been a minor issue became an even larger one when no one returned my phone calls. I have called the answering service and cell phone and none of my messages have been returned. I do NOT recommend Kelbie Roofing.

Kelbie Home Improvement did an amazing job replacing our flat roof, porch roof, and back deck. They also replaced a wooden staircase and refinished a home addition with new siding. The owner Mike Kelbie is very honest and stands by his work. His team of experienced roofers and carpenters did a fabulous job on our project. Their attention to detail, care, and expertise was refreshing. It was amazing to watch them work! This project was a major investment for me and my wife in our house, and Kelbie Home Improvement was the perfect contractor to see this project through to completion. I live in Florida with a second home in Maryland. I found Mike on google and he responded within 15 minutes on a Saturday. He was at the house within an hour and had a price the next day and a package sent to me. I was impressed with Mikes service, price, and respected his knowledge on his trade. The other roofers I called got back to me days later. Kelbie also sent us photos before and after -which was a nice gesture so we could see his work. The roof looks amazing and our tenants agree. Mike came out on Christmas eve to replace my rubber roof that had a foot of snow on it. He was easy to get in touch with and helped answer a ton of questions. I still text him to this day for questions on home improvement things and he always answers. The work they did was grreat, their prices were reasonable, and I would definitely use them again. I have not had any issues with the work they did and even recommended them to family and friends who also have used them for roofing services. Use Kelbie - you wont be disappointed!

Mike Kelbie is a great guy to deal with, and easy going. He really cares about your property, and gives you honest advice. As far as the roofing job is concerned, he sent out a great crew that did a wonderful job. All the guys were great, and very respectful. They all were working hard in extreme heat. They made sure that the area around the job was covered up to avoid any damage to the house and plants in the gardens. Clean-up was immaculate; I have not found any nails so far.

Working with Mr. Mike Kelbie was great, he maintained excellent communication, he always returned calls immediately, he would text back and forth with any of my concerns, and he even sent me pictures of the job. Everything was excellent. I am so glad I found Mike and his crew. He is fair priced and honest. I plan on using him in the future for other jobs and I will be referring friends and family to Kelbie Roofing for all their roofing needs. A+++

I have contacted Kelbie Roofing every year since 2012 to clean my gutters. They arrive on the date specified and are responsive. Mr Kelbie is a wiz at text messaging which is my preferred mode of communication. His team always provides detailed photos of their work and will even flag any potential issues with my roof. I will continue to use their services and will recommend them to my neighbors.

Flat roof project in DC. In need of a replacement. They came out almost immediately after I inquired. Great price and even threw in a hatch… both combined still beat other companies’ prices for only the roof. Work is absolutely phenomenal and I will continue to use their company’s services. We just had our roof redone. Mike was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to my text messages. Price was wonderful! Mike noticed that rain was in the forecast so he moved the project up a day to get it completed in time. Roof looks great and was finished right before a storm rolled in!
