Prior to getting information by TV ad about Erie, I had gotten 3 quotes in November 2016 from local installers for standard GS3 and Standing seam metal roofs. I had elected for company which had used for my church and was to sign contract in January 2017 for job to begin late April/ May and after several attempts to receive contract with no results, I saw ad on WTAE and inquired for a quote with Erie as product seemed better suited for looks than areas available roofing. I inquired March and after presentation and inspection of material- along with hard consideration as price was substantially more than previous quotes- I decided to make the long term investment with Erie. I was surprised as expectations were start date end of April but, long story short-was completed 4 weeks from initial contact, even with adverse weather conditions. and have been under roof 2.5 weeks as of this review 29 April, 2017. Total satisfaction. Have had several hard rains since install-one when only front of home covered and surprised that actually muffles the sound. Had a very noticeable volume of rain sounds on back of home-original singles-compared to front covered in metal shingles. I enjoy rain on roof noise but this provides gentle muted rain sounds, not the noisy tinny / deafening as sometimes experience in metal roofs of aforementioned design. Was an unexpected surprise. Have three other neighbors on my circle with these roofs and they are amazed with mine and the difference. Really finished look of home and others cannot believe is metal. Additional noticed with ceramic coat (not need snow bars as others) that the onset of birds marking spots where stopped are washed away easily during rain. Not a big thing but, has a nice appeal that allows more maintenance free care for me. Recommend highly if willing and can afford investment as this gives me peace of mind as I attain age that I will not be able or willing to do maintenance on my home. Also I believe from responses I have received that there will be higher potential resale of my home when time for me to leave it, but also , if not, my family can have peace of mind with the lifetime warranty- as well as the other purchaser(s) for 50 years from change of hands to a non family owner-, that the roof will be of little concern in maintaining this home.

I am very pleased with the installation of my new roof. My husband watched as a crew from Erie Construction installed a new roof across the street from our house. He was fascinated with the materials they used. He talked to the foreman who gladly answered his questions. Jason, the Factory Rep, explained the uniqueness of the Erie roofing system, showed us samples, and answered our questions and concerns. I know you can get a lower priced roof, but you only get what you pay for. Id rather pay a little more for quality. Michael., Senior Installation Manager, was professional and courteous. Since, my husband was satisfied with the crew who installed the roof across the street, Michael scheduled that crew to do our roof. He called to let us know July 12 was our installation date. That was one month after we signed the agreement with Jason. Mike and his crew were polite, considerate, and efficient. They did everything we asked them to do. The weather didnt cooperate but they worked Saturday and Sunday to complete the job. They cleaned up everything before they left. Those four men did a fantastic job. Sedona is the color of our shingles. The siding on our house is light gray and the doors, trim around the windows, and porch awnings are Barn Red. Sedona has enough "red" in it that it pulls everything together and makes the Barn Red pop. Most contractors are out for themselves. But Erie Construction made sure we had everything we wanted. I have no complaints. It was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend Erie Construction for roof installation.

Erie Construction was absolutely amazing to work with on getting new windows. I contacted Erie about receiving an estimate for windows and that was all I intended. Jason Weikel showed up at my house and went through every detail about the windows that Erie makes. He took the time to find out why I wanted new windows. Functionality was one of the main reasons because I had the weighted drawstring windows and more than half didnt open anymore and were very drafty in the winter time. The best part about Eries windows isnt the triple pane or different design options or even the uv protection in the glass, its the fact that they come with a Lifetime Warranty. Now at this point I was fully prepared for the hard sale, which didnt happen and a quote that would make me never consider the project. To my surprise, Erie had a price for 18 windows that made me decide that night about getting started immediately. The next week, Mike (installation manager) showed up for the final measurements and assured me that 3-4 weeks my windows would be ready for install. Into the 4th week I received the call that the windows were ready and set a date for the following Friday. Bryan and his guys showed up within the specified time and immediately starting taking out the old and putting in the new. The installation crew was FANTASTIC! They had 18 windows removed, installed, re-trimmed, caulked and cleaned up in the matter of 5 hours. I will definitely keep contact with Erie construction for any more plans to renovate my house.

My roof desperately needed replaced. I received an estimate from another company (for a considerable price difference). The competitor walked atop my roof, took the necessary measurements and promptly provided a written estimate. I was expecting the same process from Erie; however, that is far from what I received. The process began in a similar fashion, with an inspection atop the roof, which took much longer. An inspection was then performed on the underside of the roof through an access panel into a crawl space. Once that was complete, photos were provided to me, along with explanations on the “hidden” issues of my roof. As a written estimate was being provided, I was provided with the background of the company, their products, service, installation process and follow-up. Although the price was somewhat higher, I felt a higher level of quality was being provided. Due to the upcoming holidays, the start of the roof replacement was around 10 days, instead of within a day or two. At the end of each day, the roof installer made a point to relay the progress of the day, whether or not any issues had arisen and the progress they expected to make the following day. The crew did a good job of ensuring that the work site was cleaned-up at the end of each day. I also receive a follow-up call within a week, as I was promised. The roof looks great and I will not hesitate to recommend Erie Construction to anyone who is considering having the roof (re-)-done.

We had a wonderful experience with Erie Construction from the very beginning. The initial meeting with the salesman was great. He was very thorough and not all pushy, just told us how it is and asked for our thoughts. He didnt talk down to us or overcomplicate the process, he showed us samples of the window and took time to answer any questions we had. It took less than a month for Erie to build our custom windows and come out to install them. The installation team was quick, talented, and kind. One of our old windows fell on the floor and shattered when they were taking it out of the frame, but not speck of glass was left in the carpet; every work space was thoroughly cleaned. The team accidentally forgot one of our windows back at the shop, but they left and came back within the same day to finish the installation at no inconvenience to me (I figured they would have to schedule another day to come out in the next week, but they went above and beyond to finish the job as soon as possible). The entire experience was great and hassle-free, and the windows are fantastic! They have a ton of great features but the design remains simple, and they are so easy to care for and maintain. The lifetime warranty is a fantastic bonus! I would definitely recommend Erie Construction to friends and family.
