To All Readers of Frederick who need a good and pleasant hair cut .at Mystique Color Salon Well all I can say I came to this Mystique Color salon. First I was warmly welcomed with big smiles and i had no appointment. Then I was attendef to very professionally and got into conversation with the Owner Crista who cut my hair. To my surprise i did not realize how quickly the time went. Then i was taken to.have my hair wash . During the hair wash i got head wash that made me doze off. So they left me alone listening to soft background Christmas music in beautifully decorated salon. That made me relax and felt at home I felt i had slept for hours and felt refreshed. Thereafter i had hair waxed from my ears in nicely decorated room by a very pleasant and attractive lady who was well dressed for Chrisrmas festivities. What an experience it was, then final touch up and my hair and moustache trimmed again. When i looked at myself i looked like an actor and a gentleman that was ready to take a lady out for romantic dinner or attend a business meeting. All i can say is you will all have a real warm welcome and leave with experience that you will remember to come back and have yourself groomed that will raise your self image ,self esteem and good looking. If I could give less than 1 star I would. My hair was down to my waist and I asked for a trim and layers. She layered my hair all the way down to the middle of my back then I had about 3 inches of hair below that was not layered because she started too high up. I had my sister-in-law fix it for the family dinner on Easter Sunday, and now they are telling me I can not get a refund because someone else has since cut my hair. I called them on Sunday and no one answered and told them I have pictures before anyone else touched my hair. I have to wait until Saturday to talk to the owner. If it takes causing a scene w/ pictures as evidence I will be more than happy. My hair is now about 5-6 inches shorter than it was before they butchered it. Oh, and I forgot to mention, she took a big chunk out right in the middle. She put gel in it and made my hair wavy so I couldnt see what she did.

This was my first time ever going to mystique color salon, I walked in & Christa greet me very professional looking, after she sat me down in her chair she gave me a consultation on my hair, I new my hair was damaged & what I really wanted I couldnt achieve that day. so she did a ombre beige blonde & chocolate on me. Her service was Amazing & she never had a attitude she told me it was going to be 3 hours I use to be in cosmetology so I know that with color you have to be patient & it is time consuming. While we were waiting she painted my daughters nails. I will be returning back to Christa because the service was amazing & she was the best hair stylist Ive been to! Some hair dressers will do your hair the way they want and not even care about what you show them. I will be recommended this salon to everyone I know or anyone that compliments my hair.

This place is amazing! Me and my wife have been going here for a few years and cant believe its taken us this long to actually write a review. The staff is always friendly and you are greeted with nothing less than great smiles every time you come in and they even greet us by our names since we go there often. My wife and I dont have a particular stylist when we go there as everyone there is very professional and know what they are doing so we dont have to worry about our stylist messing our hair up regardless who cuts it. Lastly I would like to add that every special occasion besides purchasing my wife a gift, I always for the past 2 years have been also taking her to get her nails and feet done also. Definitely a one stop salon!

It has been many years since I have walked away loving my hair. I was a little nervous to try a new hair salon and stylist but Christa did a stellar job. I am very indecisive when it comes to my hair and was looking for a change so I needed someone who was comfortable offering suggestions that would work with my lifestyle while still making me feel beautiful - Christa did just that! Wish I would have tried this Salon sooner. So impressed with the color, highlights, and cut that I received. I highly recommend!!! Also, the hours/days open are very accommodating, the prices are extremely fair, the atmosphere is lovely, and the people working there truly can work with any hair type.

Very rarely do I complain about a service establishment. Twice I was given an appointment at 10:00 and when I got there nobody was there. The sign on the door does state that they open at 10:30. So I figured that once again the receptionist made a mistake. I thought maybe they were busy and the lady that does my hair was going to start a little early. I waited in my car. 10:30 and still nobody was there and the door was locked. By 10:45 I was annoyed and left a note under the door and left. The manager called me to apologize and said she was stuck at the vets office with her dog. So where was the lady that does my hair? I can tell you that she wasnt waiting outside with me. Done!

What a great experience. Very nice stylist who listen to what you want and make it happen. I used to go to another salon in Frederick, but it was very expensive and hard to get appointments. Amys prices are very reasonable for the whole family. I used to take my husband to the barber to get his head shaved (Not many places shave with a straight razor) and beard trimmed but now I can bring him in and they do a fabulous job! They do a great job with the kids as well. I would highly recommend Amys Hair Salon in Frederick, for your whole families needs.

I have been going to this salon for over 6 years now! It is the best experience Ive ever had getting my hair done. Christa is absolutely amazing and always makes me beautiful :) The entire staff is personable, welcoming and friendly and it is never a problem to get an appointment. The salon itself is trendy, clean and inviting. The prices are unbeatable! I guarantee you wont find a better priced salon for such great quality in Frederick. Ive recommended this salon to all of my family and friends and if you try it youll never go anywhere else!!!
